Kat you're the best! You were my first booktuber who introduced me into this world of books and friends so thank you so much! You have a special place in my heart :)
Neal Shusterman has been my FAVOURITE author for years, the Unwind series, by favourite series of all time. I have waited and waited for The Toll to come out, to binge the whole thing, because I know what Neal is like with them cliffhangers and I couldn't take that chance! I've watched the series blow up, like Neal deserves, and haven't been able to join in but knowing it was great and in November I read Scythe and once never been more exited because I haven't read a new amazing book from him in a while 😭😭😭 the emotions!!
I'm in the middle of the starless sea literally right now and I am LOVING it. Literally, I think it's going to take the top spot #1 book of the year for me. You're right, it's a pretty intricate plot - but I'm discovering that's something that I love. I can't wait to film a review of this book, because I have so many things to say already and I'm not even done!
Could you make a video showing your library? You can take a camera and walk around whole house and show every shelf. Not every book, but all the shelfs. The end of 2019 edition :-) It would be very interesting. I just like that kind of vids.
So many amazing books in this haul! I can't wait to binge read Holly Black's Folk Trilogy, I waited for the last book to be released before starting the series as well because I new I would become obsessed with it.
Aww dang. How can you NOT love Nova and Adrian. I get it, kinda. I love Nova and Adrian so much and ship them so hard. Arc of the Scythe was soooo goood!!!!!!!! Love that you're reading so much and enjoying everything you're reading!!!! This was also a great month for me. I read over 10 books... lost track at this point. And congrats on finishing your book!
Did Kat mention any Supernova spoilers? I want to hear what she thought of it, but I can’t risk being spoiled before I pick it up in December. It is one of my fave series.
OMG Kat how do you avoid spoilers? I feel like if I wait a week to read a new release, i'd have to stay away from the internet and you save entire trilogies for years lol
Honestly my favourite non-spoilery review about Reverie is that it is about a Queer Boy that shoots rainbows. Which I 100% agree with and absolutely love
How are your bookshelves still together with all these books 😂 ALSO YES HOW GOOD WAS THE QUEEN OF NOTHING! I finished it in one sitting after putting it off (because end of series anxieties + Pokémon) and I absolutely loved it
Woah, that is a great reading month indeed! I'm so woefully behind on my goal I'll probably have to do a few days where I only read, but we'll see how that goes. Also, is it only me who thought of The Pagemaster after hearing the description for The Starless Sea? It reminded me of that movie, but for adults. Definitely checking it out!
kat, i have some recommendations i think you would like! • marlena by julie buntin • the girls of no return by erin saldin • girl in snow by danya kukafka • the truth about keeping secrets by savannah brown • girls on fire by robin wasserman not sure if you’ve read any of these but they’re extremely wonderful and don’t get enough attention! hope you’re well and Book and Book 2 is going well! wishing you the very best, my love.
I’ve just come from your mortal instruments video- and wow I’m glad to see you’re so passionate about reading still, and I’m honestly, so happy for you
I haven't watched one of your videos in quite some time.....I had forgotten how excited you get over books that you love!! I may have to check a couple of these out especially that beauty & the beast retelling!!
This is great thanks for the video :) cant believe you've read that much ! How? I love writing and I love poetry I've been sharing on my youtube channel hope to see you there xx
I can absolutely say that Darkdawn is the best dang book I’ve read this year, and nothing I’ve read before or after has topped it. Some have been close, but Darkdawn made me feel empty of ALL feeling (good or bad) after I was done. It absolutely wrecked me, and I’m not ashamed of that. I still have to read Queen of Nothing, because I just got my copy a week ago.
Queen of nothing was my most anticipated book of the year and ooooommmg it was sooo goood and well wrapped up ! ❤❤ I do wish it was longer tho hhhh I finished reading it the same day I started it
I needed more when I finished the toll. I felt like we didn’t really get to see enough of the aftermath like 5 year on crap. I desperately wanted to know more of their lives after everything
