I changed out the plastic grips. Nothing was wrong with them. I just wanted to try the wooden ones. The grips are from Cool Hand and are rosewood.
The grip set comes with a brass colored screw set but I opted for the original flat head screws.
I’m not sold on the red color yet but I’ll see how it feels on the range.

But seriously folks, thanks for the video. I just wanted to see my future Tisas 1911A1 US Army WG pistol in a video. I just ordered mine from Sportsman's Outdoors Superstore online for $349.99. It comes with the Wood Grips but I am switching to a pair of old/newstock Pachmayr Rubber grips. Not the wrap around type. I just like the feel of rubber in my hand. ( Mistress Alexandra says that is a good thing )

What? No indexing of grip screws to the same angle and the grip? 😂

When you said you were sorry for Goat noises in the background I was expecting to hear the mighty roar of a 1967 Pontiac GTO you had in your garage.. Young person: What's a GTO? Younger person: What's a Pontiac

🤣 I wish there was a GTO rumbling around here.

Flying Foul Training ? I thought you were a Flying School for students with very little natural flying ability.

That name was born when our turkeys and chickens tried to fly the coop.

You kn0w you were driving the OCD viewers nuts when you did not wipe clean your frame before installing the new grips.

The wood grips do look nice. I am a Pachmayr guy myself. Liked....subbed.....rang bell.

@@tedknight1676 I’ve have this one for 4 years and a lot of rounds through it (steel, aluminum and brass). It’s performed well.

Yeah they do. They might be worth a try. If not on this one, maybe on of the other 1911s.
