The 3 things i love most about this: 1- The law of Addams. If Morticia speaks French, somehow, Gomez will both know about it, and will immediately be by her side to show his approval of her doing so. 2- The law of Gomez. If Morticia speaks French, no matter what Gomez is holding, he throws it over his shoulder. 3- The law of French. Gomez has no idea what Morticia is saying, he has no idea what the French words mean.... but he knows it's French. Honorary mention: When Morticia points out 'Someone's at the door.' and Gomez responds 'That's okay, we're married.' that face she makes of 'Yeah, that's a fair point.'
He actually does know french because from an episode in which i dont remember (might be the one in which they find a fake picasso) he starts speaking french.
I swear, Gomez could be in the Bermuda Triangle, thousands of miles from the Addams house, Morticia says something French, he'll magically transport right to her arm XDDD

Gomez can be in a desert, the middle of the ocean on a deserted island, or even the freakin edge of space! All Morticia needs to do is say something in french and he'll instantly rush to her, faster than people can say Jackrabbit.

never watched the old series before but i absolutely love that the origins involve Gomez living all his life sick and the MOMENT Morticia speaks French, he's cured. They really are made for each other

As a Frenchman, I relate to Gomez. I kiss the arms of anybody I hear speaking my language. Which is probably why I barely have any friend and many people say I'm a creep.
I've only watched Addams Fam animated movie and this vid makes me wanna watch the whole series. Been watching this in a loop. Morticia is indeed hot when she speaks french.
They were not, but did have feelings for each other--apparently they stayed friends for the rest of her life and only when she was dying did he tell her how he'd always felt about her, and she then told him she'd felt the same way all along. A very tragic story I think...
@@eviltothecore1360 John Astin said it wasn't difficult to be attracted to Carolyn Jones. Unfortunately, Carolyn wouldn't marry an actor because of a disastrous marriage with a producer, but otherwise I think the attraction between them was mutual. They played out their attraction for one another on screen and although there were only 2 seasons of _The Addams Family,_ the romance between Gomez and Morticia remains memorable for it.
