It’s 9/3/2020 and I’m now seeing the re-run to this and my heart broke midway through listening to this , and said “ you can do all this through Christ who strengthens you “ and just bawled 😭😭😭 omg I am so so proud of her Son !!
God needed me to hear this. I have just been talking to my 21 year old Son about how far he has came. He was also diagnosed with Autism. He is in college has always maintained a 3.7 or above gpa. He works part time and lives at home..i have also tried to instill life lessons in his world. I told him don't let autism define you its just a label. He also is a kind young man. His pride in being voted Employee of the month by his peers at work made me so happy for him...It's does something to the heart when he came to me and said he's ready to try on his own..i realize as his Mom I have done the best that I can to prepare him...i just ask him to keep God in his life I was trying not to make this comment all about my Son (didnt do that 🙂)but its so very hard hearing Tisha not to reflect on my own Son journey. What i was trying to say is I understand and am so very happy for Tisha and her Son.
I don't know you or your son but I don't have to know him to know that he will doing amazing things. I pray he continues to keep God first and I'm glad that he has such a strong and beautiful mother by his side.
I think that autistic kids are just too smart for their brains. Most of them are A+ students who exceeds in everything. My nephew doesn't have to study. All he does is listen and retain. Tisha and you did an excellent job with your sons. So proud of you and her.
I work with kids with autism. His transformation is so beautiful to hear. God bless this young man. I'm so proud of him and Tisha for being a great mom.
A 10 year old saying “ you are my safe place “ when I tell you children being able to be vulnerable and open and honest and not being afraid to let their parents know the love they give and etc really does mean a lot to them ❤️🙏🏽
Tisha did something that a LOT black moms did not, make sure to have an indipendent boy. I know to many people (without medical issues) that are treated by their mothers lke they were a child, eventhough they are a full grown ass man. She did an amazing job with his son.
Tisha I’m so happy that ur son has these opportunities. Thanks to u and everyone that has helped along the way.. including himself. I wish that my mentally ill brother in law had the same chance for life as your amazing son. He didn’t because our police officers don’t know how to deal with those who suffer from mental illnesses and he was shot dead by an off duty LAPD officer over nothing. His parents were who also shot and critically wounded trying to stand up for him. The media has covered this up, just as much as the district attorney has. I’m happy for you and your son. May God bless both of you.
I'm so happy for him and he is now going to college!!! I support him because he learned that it doesn't matter if he has autism or any other disability, he is an human being and he can make his dreams come true!!! He can make a difference because her son can be independent everyday!!!!
I hope you're not pushing him to conform to allistic (non-Autistic) standards. That can lead to trauma and/or Autistic burnout. All the best to you both 🎉
God bless Tisha and her sons. Side note: Tisha stay booking these sitcoms. This is her fourth sitcom and she made a few appearances on Everybody Hates Chris. She knows how to get those checks.
I wished she had 15- 20 minutes to speak about this, it was a privilege to listen to her talking about the spirit of her son, autism in society can be looked as weakness and underachieving and while I believe kids need support in development ...It has nothing to do with who the child becomes as a caring and sensible human being. One thing is to speak about how you are and who they are but when you hear the mind of your child that says everything about your parenting, values and character. I see the love in your eyes Tisha ! Bless you ❤
I have 2 sons with autism, I try my best to give them the tools to be independent and prosper on their own. It’s difficult at times when you want to protect your babies from this harsh, cruel world but this absolutely gives me hope for the future that they will not only survive but thrive in the future. Tisha you must be so incredibly proud and happy ❤️
This is Beautiful..the greatest gift to give a child is teaching them independence and how to survive on their own, especially our black boys..GREAT Job Tisha!!!
This gives me so much hope. As a mother of a soon to be 4 year old autistic daughter who is also non verbal. I just hold on to this hope that not only she will start talking but she will grow up follow her dreams and become an amazing women ❤ thank you for sharing your story. Congratulation.
Shes such a good addition to the table she brings positivity even with sad moments, shes honest and genuine and has a lot of back story experiences we dont even think she could have experienced, shes raised a child with autism it's not easy but still shared a part of her with us.....shes a great addition.
Tisha Campbell has always been one of the MOST authentic entertainers out here. I love her. I remember her as a young teenager (I have followed her career since I waz about 10). She is a real person.
I felt the hurt and the emotions she’s been through all those years in just five minutes. God bless you & your kids, Tisha. We’re proud of him & he’ll do great in school!
I am proud of my brother for the amazing father he is to his daughter and the wonderful husband he is to his wife. They are both blessed to have him and i know that our mother who we lost in 2016 is always going to watch over everything we do
Tisha i grew up watching you fro house party, little shop of horrors and martin... I love that no matter what you have ever done you never was on a high horse despite your fame... What you just talked about your baby made me respect you more than what i already did.. May god continue too bless you and your babies!!!
never heard of Tisha's new show. why YT?? I GET EVERYTHING ELSE. you got Tisha Campbell and Jason Biggs on a screen together?? I can tell from the clip that it jus might be a decent show.
As mothers were figuring it out as we go along. Children don't come with instructions. Some young mothers have older family members that have raised their children and are helping them raise theirs. But some young mothers and some older ones give up their children to people who they think will raise them right but they do more damage than good. Some people really shouldn't be parents. Tisha Campbell has done right by her kids. They're blessed to have her. And she was blessed with them.
