Thanks for uploading this video. It brings back my memories of late 1989-90 of Central Production Centre, Doordarshan, Sirifort, Khel gaon, New Delhi. Where, I recorded and shooted this song in the studio, part of doordarshn team. I enjoyed the time spent with these mastreo of bollywood singing world. In the process of recording, this song repeated to play so many times, that it had remembered to me before it had aired, perhaps it was the part of famous "new year special programme" of the Doordarshan, aired every year on 31st December. I was searching it for so many years, as it was my careers starting years, when I recorded it. Golden moments brought back. Thanks....

In the later half of 80s when I first saw& heard this song I was obsessed to hear it again. I tried even for the cassette but twas all in vain until recently when I discovered my sweet little Joy . Hemlataji and Yesudasji's hauntingly beautiful rendition,the sweet words~ the haunting music all speak of those beautiful fond moments, those simple days which admirers like me love to recall and relive again and again.

Every one know Dasettan is a Gandharvan (celestial singer). But what amazes me is the magic done by Hemalata ji who is on par with Yesudas which happens very rarely with a female singer. Very sad that she didn't get the proper recognition according to her talent. Really mind blowing song and can't just exit with out listening for one more time (atleast)!!

I can't say how happy I am today to find this song on RU-vid. This is one of my Nostalgic moments I share with Doordarshan & its great contents in the late eighties & early nineties.This is like some Divine Genius. I was totally mesmerized from the day I heard this Beautiful song my Yesudas (God's Voice) in the early nineties & never let this song out of my system for once. Thank You Very Much.
Best childhood memories. Just I was scrolling RU-vid sudden I saw Hemlata Ji program then I read Wikipedia related to the Hemlata Ji then I luckily found song Tista nadi si tu chanchala. It's very difficult to share my expression when I listened this song on RU-vid at 4am. What a serene song which is sung by two legends.

Watching Dasettan ( thats how we refer to the great Yesudas) performing live is always special treat - we can see how effortless his music is to him, and how he is in complete control of his voice. Good camerawork that focused on the singers in turn as well..
