The story of Titan II is quite an amazing one! Titan II was born out of necessity during the Cold War and even as designs were being made, construction on each launch site progressed forward. In the short span of just a few years, the ability of the United States to retaliate against a nuclear strike changed greatly!
This video covers the concept of "concurrent" planning and building and the Atlas, Titan and Titan II programs as they developed over time.

Lol! Your logo is awesome. I'm reading 'Command and Control, by Eric Schlosser' that covers the Damascus incident, that brought me here. Great channel!

I spent over 7 years underground in a Titan II Silo. Titan II killed only Americans

What an awesome video! Nice to see the patch of the final squadron, the mighty 373rd SMS. Proud to have been a Titan crew officer! Major Mark Clark USAFR Ret, senior DMCCC at MCAFB and LRAFB from 1984-1987.

This is an awesome video. Thanks for sharing it, brings back many memories at the 390 SMS. Don't you own a missile site outside Tucson, and how is it going with renovation?

Yes, S-4b, unmanned test - I'd imagine the staging sequence was confusing to almost every person who watched it at the time, when the Titan second stage pulled away and damaged the first stage, and then they would have no idea about the Saturn footage except is looked cool.

During 1966 I was in the US Airforce stationed at the 390th SMS, Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson AZ. While there I worked with a SGT Brewer, we were good friends but lost contact with each other. Would like any information about him or where he might live. Thank You
