This is a re upload as the original version had a weird effect where it dipped in volume every now and then, but that’s fixed. Anyway, enjoy this amazing song!
The audio issues was I believe part of the game as every dodge lowers the audio for a moment, same thing happens in every fight in the game and FF strangers of paradise
@@FaeryChylde106 I actually found that out when I tried to record audio by capturing my own footage through the game and kept SFX and voices off, so I had to find another way to get clean audio. It’s a weird design choice but it’s not really noticeable at all when playing the game normally
An anvil from the heavens cast Tumbling hard and tumbling fast Round granite neck pours out threefold A darkness begot in ages old Sky black with rain E'er against its weight do his shoulders strain Rise, crownless king Of a reckoning, the muses sing A sickle forged of adamant To sever the man from his hooded past No more a slave to sorrow's gloom In onychine eyes burn chthonic doom Fury and rage For the gods below we invoke by name Buried in lies From madness white the mountains rise Soul flayed, spirit flown Heart of stone! Comе one, claim the throne Hеart of stone! Sins foul, unatoned Heart of stone! Eyes down, vengeance sown Heart of stone!
When titan breaks the tentacle that Clive is running he shouts “shiiiiit!” That’s the best single line In any game for me. So relatable when you can see imminent disaster.
@@nopedontthinksoevery single primal fight in ff14 sounded similar to this and always had phase changes that the themes went along with, especially the Alexander trials. Sure enough, it’s also the same guy that made the music for those that did this theme in ff16.
This fight to me is the reason why Music is so important. The EXTREME CODED fight makes this fight make sense, but dull. Very dull because everything is nearly coded. However the music helps a lot to overshadow that. Well done to the composers.
I’d very much agree with that. The music is what really makes this fight what it is, in my opinion, especially since the gameplay for this section itself focuses more on spectacle than challenge
