titanfall 2 is the only game i can think off where you might be just running around the battlefield trying to find an enemy but suddenly you see a player moving toward you literally faster than their bullet

@@hacksmith1373 same I run ronin nuclear ejection and a lot of the time when the evac ship comes there’s usually enemy titans and I fight with ronin at the ship and once he’s doomed they all go boom

The best thing about TF2 multiplayer is how cinematic it feels when you’re popping off,you feel like an actual sci-fi super soldier on the battlefield with all the crazy movement and all the things happening around you. The bots (that people hated so much at the beginning) are one of the main things that add to this feeling since they make the battlefield feel more alive without throwing everything to caos (replacing those bots with players would 100% be waaaaay too chaotic). In short this is one of the best multiplayer experiences ever made,it’s not competitive,it’s not supposed to be,but man…it’s hard to find something as fun as a good match of Titanfall 2
Oh my goodness this game still looks and plays amazingly. When respawn made this game they must have made a deal with the devil to create such an awesome movement system and implement it into multiplayer in such a way that is feels balanced and good. I pray we get a third one in the coming year, it would be amazing. After apex and Fallen Order, EA cant fuck this studio over again for the next release
Titanfall 3 won't happen. I hate to say it as I LOVE titanfall, but its just not gonna happen. They only have 2 people for titanfall 2. Apex legends was too successful. Similar situation to Paragon and Fortnite by Epic. Paragon was scrapped despite being a super promising game because fortnite was just too successful.

Reminds me about TF1, how the game can feel so cinematic. From fighting multiple titans at once, to rushing to the drop ship, to watching a teammate sacrifice themself so the shuttle can get away, Titanfall is such a masterpiece of a game. A shame that it never got the attention it deserved.
he honestly wasn't greedy enough with his titan. If you dont panic/if you time it right (not hard) you can knock back an enemy titan before their melee hits you, basically creating a high-stakes slugfest while you are doomed. I've done it several times to execute a half health/full heath titan while I'm doomed. He also ejected in the doomed state (normally not a terrible idea but he had full shields, so he had plenty of protection from execution, as you cant execute a shielded target). I'm also not a fan of his core selection for monarch (Rocket Salvo/Maelstrom/Sup Chassis). Superior chassis is just fine but the other two are really inconsistent. My go to setup on Monarch is: Arc Rounds/Reload and Rearm and then either Sup. Chassis or Accelerator for my T3 upgrade. it chews through enemy titans like none other and I've gotten a few 1 v 5 comebacks with it in Last Titan Standing.

Been years since I touched the game. I was never really that good at it and the pacing of the combat as well as the tactical maneuvers the dude is performing is staggering to me and so quick that I just easily get lost. Still feels like its a game which would require all of my free-time just to even figure out how to play properly, especially as a solo-player. Besides all that, even I have to admit how much of a game design marvel Titalfall 2 (and even 1) is, and that despite the years it still looks so kick-ass to watch gameplay of it. While not 100% certain I also feel like its one of the games that inspired many titles nowadays (i.e. CoD, Battlefield and even Halo) to incorporate sliding as well as speeding up gameplay while also adding a focus to 3d movement to the games. Definitely one of the greats despite EA's infamy and neglect.

Before I was brave enough to enter my first MP game, I was terrified the seasoned players would rock my shit But everything about the game is just so intuitive and fluid that I instantly felt comfortable going fast, it's as easy as looking at a wall and and jumping on it, the rest will flow easily
I still don’t get why CoD even comes close to being as popular as this game. _Maybe_ Battlefield can compete with all of its mixed warfare, but I haven’t really seen a AAA shooter that mixes this level of mobility with fps and massive vehicle action.

@OneBiasedOpinion I used to agree with you up until MW had came out. The level of realism they brought to the table along with keeping the fast pace arcadey style was definitely a win for me and brought me back to the franchise. And MWll only improved more on it. I'll have to see how 3 pans out.
You feel very cool when: -Being the Apex Predator in a match -Destroy most titan in a game. -Sole survivor, hot zone extraction last second -Destroy the entire enemy team and proceed to WALK to extraction point. -Monarch full upgrade
I have such fond memories of this game, me and my older brother would come home from school and play this every single day. I won't go into details, but I wasn't exactly in the best state of mind then. This game was the one thing I had to look forward to. I know I'm late but thank you for posting this, it just randomly appeared in my recommended and let me re-live some happy memories. Thank you.

Update for those who got frustrated at the servers attacks. The game is playable for practically all servers nowadays. I’ve been playing for the last month and every game played has worked flawlessly. Lol
This game gave me the original Tribes feel when I played it , from rooted movement to absoloute freedom is a big leap I think this game had and still has an enormous untapped potential for huge outdoor large scale multiplayer battles
It's magnificent. Shame this game didn't had the recognition it truly deserve. I'm sure a tournament or an event could give the game a little more fame and give the opportunity for the game and Respawn to work on it more.
I miss playing capture the flag, running around at 200+ mph with the stim. This game was incredible, and my only hope for shooters after odst happened. Sad days man.
Always went missiles, smoke, chassis (with battery theif). Monarch's gun is great midrange, you need the missiles for close range burst or long range poke. Smoke helps get Ronins the fuck away from you. Chassis, if you can get to it, combined with battery theif makes you a pretty dangerous brawler & mid range titan. Nice Iowa pic btw.
My usual is Arc Rounds/Rearm & Reload/Accelerator. Sometimes if want a challenge I'll try a full rocket build Monarch with missile racks/R&R/multi target missile system It's not really optimal but it's really funny to play with and thanks, hehe.
One of my favorite shooters and campaigns of all time, the time skipping finale was just unacceptably good and completely out of left field! I hope they make a third, it deserves sequels
I always grab the battery for nearby Titan friends. Sometimes it’s just too tense for the pilot to get out, but most of the time it’s just faster and I get my Titan sooner.
they are slowly fixing after that dude that ddos apex servers,yesterday played a match of titanfall 1 that was offline on pc since 2019 bcause of ddos attacks
The PS4 servers are terrible right now, it will continue to be like this until the issue is fixed which I doubt. The ddoser literally has full control on this game and decides when the servers are open or not very disappointing on EA and Respawn side anyways I haven’t touched the game since lol

I remember hiding in the building in that big open area on the south end of this map for giggles. Specifically, I’d set up a “nest” in the vent and try to click heads, chip away at titans’ health bars, that kind of stuff. I just generally played the game either like it was intended or like I was the Sniper from Team Fortress with the Double Take and an A-wall, climbing up to the highest point on the map and clicking heads. The EPG-1 was so much fun to use, too. Really, the whole game was fun and now nobody can play it.
Man, i remember when this game came out and i fell in love with it, i was in junior year i think and then boom a week later BF1 cane out and literally titanfall 2 died, not literally but you could tell that everyone got BF1 including me, but still came back twice a week to play ttf2

Game actually some of the craziest skill to maneuver when you get high mobility and kill. Was one of the best in my opinion. I got really good then moved to cod
