Josh. C tone isn't even op anymore, but the spitfire yeah of course it's op. However people like winning expecting for everyone to use weapons that aren't "op" at all times is just stupid. Everyone has or will use the most "op" weapons in a game no matter how skilled they may be at least once.
although the hover seemed to get you a fair amount of kills here, it's counterproductive to not run low profile while using cloak, because without it you see the red jets firing up every time your pilot moves and with low profile they are invisible.
LiKeaG2 Your name disgusts me but Imma put that aside to share the glory of cloak and low profile. Cloak, double satchel titan, detonate satchels, Rodeo, Archer as you come off its back. Rip four bars of health, Hello to your new Ronin and a free 70% core gain if you're running overcore, use that battery you stole and manage to execute that titan you basically solo'd as a Cloak pilot. It was my strategy way back when I played TF2 regularly and it basically meant that, along side my own battery boost after I had executed the heavily damaged titan with ronin, I could have my Ronin at full health, full shield and a Sword core ready to go pretty much everytime I dropped him. And A Swordcore basically guarantees a titan kill if you're in anyway competent. So, Cloak and low profile with satchels and a single archer was a guaranteed way to gain two Titankills per Ronin drop bare minimum. I used to be good enough at Anti titan combat that I could activate titanfall before I had touched the ground since the last time I ejected by satchelling the titan on the way up from the eject, landing on them for the battery and archering them as I hopped of the back of them with the battery, hitting the call titan button as I landed on the ground. .....I was kind of a bully.
deadcut With the current player base? Nah they really dont. All the newcomers didn't grow with the old community, which was the community that everyone learned the game together with. So for one most of the current players are either idiots, noobs, or the occasional god tier player, atleast on console. Plus, Theres nothing to get wise to. Cloak and low profile means no visual and very very little audio warning. If they know to keep moving after losing two bars of health, then take more time to satchel the front of each titan, and rodeo for the three bars of health burst. The archer can be avoided, sure, but if thats the case, take the MGL. Its the preferred weapon for me anyway, and a Titan cant usually defend against it so easily. The final bar of damage is typically not needed for your titan, its just a bit of extra damage done. And the execution is also pretty unnecessary, it just guarantees the extra points gained by killing the pilot too. If the titan dies just, its pretty much all the same. A slightly lesser core gain. But overall, theres nothing a Titan can really do to avoid this strategy unless its a tone and they just HAPPEN to radar ping themselves and stumble across the Cloak pilot. Anyone else would have to rely on accidentally finding the cloak pilot, and if that doesnt happen, a cloak pilot is nearly free to devastate a titan all they want. Grapple can be wised to, Stim, A wall and Phase can really be a detriment unless its used when the enemy hasnt the time to track you. Practically everything can be heavily countered or sussed out pretty easy. But a titan cant really do shit against cloak. The lone exception being if that cloak pilot is dumb enough to run along the ground and kick up the cloud of dust that running on the ground does. The only way to detect a pilot reliably as a titan, is to have a team mate rodeo you. I do this for my mate alot, MGL on the back of their titan acting as a spotter, battery gatherer and an extra independent gun. And if a cloak comes along, I go hunting. Otherwise, you gotta basically wait for the cloak to make a mistake. Which is exactly why I say cloak is wasted on pilots, and its godly against titans. Oh, and as of like three games ago my typical game partner has just beat 314, with 319. 44 pilot kills and 9 titan kills and whatever happened to get caught in between. Rip my score.
deadcut How do you counter it? Unless they're messing up you literally have little to no chance of defending against it just by nature due to titans lacking the ability to see pilots that cloak.
Nice. Meanwhile I cant even find a match anymore unless I wait a good 15 mins or so. That's the only reason I set TF2 down, and I'm a day 1 player. Anybody on xb1??
Hey iniquity, I used to watch your videos all the time! Then school got in the way and I stopped playing tf2. I found you again and I’m so happy that you haven’t hopped on the fortnite train! I love you bro, keep it up
I really feel like cloak is best played with iniquity’s play style instead of camping, because if you’re flying around someone that already makes it hard to see you, then you add cloak to the mix and you become just a blur to everyone.
I believe that you can go a entire match without reloading and still get like 15 kills, the only time I consider using the spitfire good is for punishing the ones who play it, and 2 to hold the trigger the entire match
S4lami_gr GAMES Please stop using the spitfire, its getting as bad as the G2 holy crap But cloak is probably my favourite. It slips outta first place with grapple every so often but the two are always up there.
I love how Respawn keeps weapons like the Spitfire the way they are, yet they nerf my beloved B3. PLEASE. I'M BEGGING YOU. I'M NOT EVEN ASKING FOR THE ONE-SHOT AMPED. JUST THE 2-HIT BODY AND 1-HIT HEAD. PLEASSSEEEEE!!!!
6:56, he got killed by that mastiff guy. 7:10 Iniquity's Titan revenged his death.. damn.. and he didnt even noticed it HAHAHA iniquity still kept chasing the guy not knowing his titan already avenged him
I love your videos keep it up and just saying u can use the spitfire cuz u play aggressive but there are people who camp with that gun and say they good how u feel about that
I use the spitfire but I'm always moving it's such a campable weapon but if you're good at controlling the recoil you can just dominate people from any range. I like the L-STAR a lot though but I despise people who use crap like the R101 because it literally has ZERO recoil and is a favorite of sweaty Tone users.
Been playing TF2 for maybe a couple of days now, been watching your vids initially for tips but this vid deserves a sub. I'll need to master the slide hop for TF3 cause I am a huge fan of this game now .
I gotta say, I like the Spitfire when you’re actually moving around with it. It’s also not really the best hip fire weapon. It’s kind of like the Devotion, just…better? I dunno. I just hate the Spitfire campers
The spitfire is literally a faster shooting g2. Its absolute bullshit. None of the LMGs even come close to beating it. It has to much aim assist on console, way too much range and fucking 2 shot headshot at any range. Sure, you could turn off aim assist and only hipfire and it wouldn’t be OP. But nobody does that. Every person who uses it camps on towers, using cloak/a-wall, with 0 movement abilities and will act like they earned their kills. I don’t claim to be good at Titanfall, but I dropped a 50 kill game with it, and I do not count that as my highest scoring game (I count my 40 kill mozambique game). Change my mind.
Mate your movement is amazing and I've been watching and learning from your vids as I've just recently started playing TF2 after quitting Destiny 2. I know it's going to take a lot of practice but I'm excited to learn😁👍 Are the Evolve control's going to be hard for me to adjust to?? Any advice would be much appreciated, as i really want to move around like you do or even half as good would be ok lol😂👌Great content bro and thank you, I'm enjoying gaming again because of you and TF2🎉🎉
I'm probably really late, but I use "customised" controls and I switch over the "crouch" button, and the "tactical ability" button, also I put the crouch on "hold" instead of "toggle". Also I switch over the "attack" and "ordnance" buttons because I have a slow trigger finger and it helps me use the p2016 and tapfire the alternator
You see the real way to play aggressively with the spitfire/devotion is to use it with the aog scope. What!? I here you cry in disbelief. The scope is for filthy campers! And you would be correct. But in close to mid range the scope can really help you win duels because it automatically centers your cross hairs and (I think) it has strong auto-aim when you initially ads. Don't know if this works for everybody but it has worked wonders for me. I'm not proud of it but god is it fun!
Would still love and play this if it wasn't for me being on PC. Ya know, where it took me 25 fucking minutes to find an attrition match. The PC community has been dead for a while now unfortunately. Sad, sad indeed.
I absolutely loved the grapple in titanfall but then...it happened....a piece came off the disk...somehow........can I get a R.I.P had to switch to apex to dominate the game
I hate the spitfire with a passion if a bon skilled player is using it. All they do is camp and just hold down the trigger. Skilled players that use it with movement and aim I am ok with but those camping noobs need to leave the game
It depends on how the player uses the gun, if they sit in a corner or in a head glitch spot with an a wall, ima get mad and hate the gun for a while, but if they play more of a fast paced play style, and clap my teams cheeks, ima be annoyed, but I’ll get over it faster
The Meta The spitfire is currently a better devotion. The devotion is huge and noticeable, you hear that spin up you get to ground, all is good. The spitfire opens up? "Bumbumbum" *dead*
I don't get the hate for cloak - it's tons of fun and is my main ability. It's great for taking down titans but good players are able to see it coming.
I honestly have to say anyone that uses the spitfire or tone is just annoying the gun is too easy to use and requires little to no skill to use effectively
