one of the main issues with the game is that players that Lag take more damage than they should and my shots never register. leaving them to be really over powered. there are players that know this and they abuse the servers in that way. i really hope this would go away on titanfall 2

does anyone know if all XB players will stay on Azure servers, or will it be a combo of all? p.s. Titanfall HYPE

Love this vid. Its kinda cool seeing the people that makes theese games. Seeing that its not just some entity that just poofs out a new game every few years.

A triple A company that makes a game by listening to their buyers and fans? Must not be Infinity ward and COD XD

Respawn is a great company, putting out honest content like this.

This is good that they're adding more servers and better servers to the lineup. Hopefully IF private matches are a thing in Titanfall 2, this whole partnership will improve the quality of that.

how to play the tech test?

It didn't work really well. All of us here in Alaska had terribly high ping and we want to host our own dedicated community servers. :|

Doesn't explain if we'll be able to browse these servers or if the game will repeat the same stupid mistake of going all in on a single useless Quick Match button - that kind of killed Titanfall 1. And Evolve. And dozens of free-to-play games. And everything that used GFWL.

You're wasting money hosting these servers if you're not even going to allow real players to use them.

xD fix damn netcode!!! Getting sick of getting hit behind cover!!! 15 ping gets shot behind cover... or kicked in the face from 5 meters of distance... Give us 120 tick rate or at least full 60 not 60up/20down....

It's nice and interesting to see how gaming masterpieces are made from start to finish. And these guys are committed to the world's entertainment, so they deserve respect and consideration. I say that because of those who just play smart-ass saying 'this game is s**t' or 'this f****ng sucks' with no solid arguments to back up. It is important to give feedback respectfully.

Came here after buying Titanfall 2 and servers (with 40 ping) are just lagging like crazy. seems player positions are updated 3 times per second. This is the cheapest servers I've ever seen. I don't remember Titanfall 1 being this bad.

Hey Jon! Question for ya! - Will there be any kind of comparable world ranking/placement system that will be viewable on the web? Like where you can view your stats the same or better way than what it was with like Halo 3 during it's prime?

WHAT IS THE REFRESH RATE??? 30hz was not enough in the original game and made the stryder the most powerful mech simply because it would not register hits when boosting.

Never lose focus on the fans. Never become like Activision, who will publish whatever COD game they want without regards to the community. Never become like Nintendo in its current state, who will do much of the same, and develop a weak console with surprisingly large potential, but underutilize it thanks to the aged staff.

I've been a Halo fan since John fists crashed on the Ring. Sadly 343 as completely muck up the servers Ping rate in Europe are way higher than in the US giving them so big of an advantage as to make it not worth play late at night! It glitches and drops you out all the time even after months it's still not working right ! Something I never notice on TF1 and the Tec test run fine ... most of the time, so well done, if only other followed suit and listen to us :)

That's nice and all but the sheer lack of public server support or even LAN is horrifying. This brilliant game's multiplayer has a limited shelf life thanks to that. Please please please for the love of your fans add some sort of olive branch of support if you ever reach the point you have to shut down your servers for good.

I have a question, don't if know the Respawn gonna see it but well. Halo Reach does a very nice thing with it's netcode. Basically if the player has been killed on host machine but he still managed to fire one more shot on his local client machine at the time of his death in host machine's "future" the game kills the player on host but still spawns the weapon he fired with his aiming directions and fires a shot. That way the players don't have to experience things like launching an Archer rocket, see the animation, see the rocket fly away then die and see that the rocked was despawned, like it never existed. Is Titanfall 2 going to take the classic TTF1 approach with this netcode after death situation or is going to be an approach similar to Halo Reach?

Offline multiplayer with bots and progression would be nice. Also private matches should be hosted locally instead of dedicated servers..

What about server browsers and custom servers/playlists? That's the main reason why I stopped playing TF1 on PC.

I'm so paranoid about signing up for the test.. I must have tried to do it 4-5 times now, I DON'T WANT TO MISS IT!

This has worried me alot! will you make an ability which allows the the user to hide from pulse grenade!. I reaaly hope not. As what would the point be of pulse greande if they can simply hide from it. and also the class would be very under powered while others shine above it!

echo vision is another issue. i feel like there is way too many seconds being put on echo vision. being able to see the enemy through walls. titanfall 1 echo vision lasts about 9 almost 10 seconds and it takes almost half that to recharge. that is way too many seconds on echo vision it becomes cheating after a while. if all these things that players abuse don't get changed titanfall will soon develop a reputation of cheat supporters on multiplayer.

Too bad I couldn't even play 1 game on the first tech test last weekend. It would freeze as soon as it started loading and i would get "Error, connection to server timed out"
