Honestly, I think that instead of each ability draining the energy from the other abilities, like laser shot draining the energy from vortex shield and vice versa, only the splitter rifles secondary fire should drain the other abilities. This would mean that you could use all of Ions abilities without ever having to secondary fire, meaning you could have vortex shield and laser shot be much more versatile and effective in combat, as they each have their own cooldowns and such. This would mean that secondary fire still drains the energy from your abilities though, so you would have to use them much sparingly.
@@rjadelman9470 if im right that's not true, not sure but people thought there was a range but turns out it just weirdly unaccurate at long long range. But its rare so aint something people think about
