Tip #7 is a bad tip. You should always try to destroy enemy titans as a pilot. If the entire enemy team gets all their titans up and no one is killing them, the score starts to climb for them rapidly. Always try to kill a titan.
Also you have to. If the enemy team got 4-6 titans up and your team non the first guy who drops a titan is instantly screwed, because there is no titan that can dominate multiple hostile titans. He will get ganged up by a few titans as soon as the titan shield is down. So you have to damage all titans at least so far that some are doomed so that the first guy could start his titan rampage with one or two executions, before he looses his new titan. And for Tip #8 the thunderbolt is a nice anti-titan weapon in case there are multiple hostile titans. It fires a big arcing bolt, that damages anything in its way and deal extra damage if it hits a target. Not weaker against pilots then the mag grenates but deals more damage to titans and to multiple titans.
When u said anti-titan weapon is not effective, I laugh. I am not sure how u use the anti titan weapons, but in my opinion, Anti-titan is super useful when u support ur teammate while he is having a titan vs titan fight or hit and run with a anti-titan weapon. Do not even try having a face to face gun fight with titans, that is stupid.
Well if you have stim and magnetic grenadier or whatever its called. You can pop stim to move 2x speed and run and jump around him - i ussualy get the titan in 3 clips and barely take damage
I agree with killing titans with non anti titan weapons because you can only do damage to the weak point which is often shielded or if it’s a ronin it will fuck you up with a leadwell
Frying Enigmas im thinkin of gettin this game cuz im sick 2 death of cod IW. is it really a good game? r there still lots of ppl playin it so i can find matches?
its an amazing game and much better than cod iw. All the dlc is free and you can find it for $20 to $30 bucks now. I can only vouch for ps4 which does have a decent amount of players you will be able to easily find matches regardless of game type!
Yeah, but the last quarter of the year is always the the time fps game get thrown out like a deck of cards, but I agree. I don't think tf2 got the recognition it deserves because of the launch time. Even if CoD flopped hard as hell, battlefield 1 did the damn thing this year.
I am a huge BF fan and pre-ordered BF1. I still love the game and will still play it. However, I bought TF2 when it was on sale and can honestly say I have not loaded up BF1 since. It has been TF2 every chance I get to play.
Another tip. Never kill spectres when they start to deploy. Instead, go up to one and hack it. You can do this by being close to it and holding the reload button. It affects that spectre and any other that deployed with it. Soon, with all the hacking, you'll have your own spectre army that is really useful for distractions and taking down grunts for points.
TIP: Here's a tip that I love to use, and I have NEVER seen someone on youtube or ingame use it. Call in your titan, with dome shield, get close, and DON'T embark. Get IN the shield, and fire outwards to any enemies. Once they're dealt with, THEN embark. This tactic is beyond useful when there's an enemy pilot engaged in combat with you, and also an enemy titan as well. Get in the shield, deal with the pilot, embark, deal with the titan. Embarking with an enemy titan AND pilot could devastate your titan, with anti-titan weapons. Use this ingame, pilots!
Thats a good tip! I got one too, if youre playing Tone, an enemy pilot jumps on you and you dont have smoke ready, simply go to the next wall and shoot it. Needs 3-4 shots to kill the bastard!
I bought the cosmetics just to further help support the game since I bought it when it was on sale. However, I hope it does not increase the drive for additional microtransactions.
Savior Of Noobs dude, CoD copied wall running from the makers from titanfall. They copied it but still don't have it. Most people don't know it but it came from titanfall originally.
Anti-Titan weapons are great! You can do a ton of damage to Titans, especially if you aim for their weak points and use Amped weapons or the A-Wall since it also amps your shots while protecting your from the Titan.
This game DESERVES more attention! Do you like fast paced action packed shooters? It's easy to get in to but harder to master. It is designed by the original Infinity Ward that designed COD4 and MW2 and they literally fixed and listened to all the feedback of the original game! The gunplay is FANTASTIC and so is the Titan combat! Oh and let's not forget how great it is to have all future maps, modes and weapons for FREE to all players.
All good stuff! Seriously folks, this is way better than Infinite Warfare if you want a futuristic FPS this year. And, as it stands, has about the same player base as Infinite Warfare on Steam so... yeah, come on over [higher player base on console]. Also: ALL DLC WILL BE FREE! On a side note [full of salt and nothing else]: Damn EVA-8 shotgun though. Even in these videos most clips have that stupid noob gun. Eh, I guess I shouldn't complain, at least the smart pistol was made a boost instead of a primary lol
For anti-titan I always bring the LG-97 thunderbolt. It doesn't seem impressive at start, but it does a lot of damage to mechanical enemies even if it doesnt hit them. You can fire a bolt in the enemies general direction and then change position and just watch as the damage indicator starts beaming from all the damage that is being done. It also helps bring in your titan a lot faster. General tip to using anti-titan weaponry is to take advantage of a titans divided attention. Try not to get its full attention and if you do, quickly switch positions until the titan is prooccupied with something else again. You're supposed to be a pain in the ass with anti-titan weapons.
I find that the main issue with the Thunderbolt is that it isn't hitscan and the projectile is slow moving. This means that you have to be very close to get its full damage, however that damage is incredible and easily kills titans.
So far I've done the least damage with the thunderbolt. I think many others are the same, I almost never see anyone bring it. The mag launcher seems to be the favorite, but I've had the best luck with the lock-on rocket. Other players don't seem to know how/when to dodge it so it's a hit about 80% of the time. Out of all my weapons it's the highest level.
This is a great fucking game. Never played the first, but played the beta for this is one, and fell in love. You can do some insane shit. I just recently ejected out of my titan and managed to throw a c4 on a pilot and kill him with it mind you i'm hurling in the air at this point.. This game is fucking great.
Yea I had a moment where me and another Titan doomed ourselves so we both ejected and had a firefight mid-air and I killed him lol I'll upload it soon.
Don't go out of your way to kill AI in Bounty Hunter? What? The whole point of the game mode is to kill more of the AI than the opposite team, onestly.
The most effective anti-titan weapon has to be the Archer, it has very good damage, and along with the lock on it’s very easy to hit titans. It has decent reload time.
Tip 12 you forgot 1 very handful tip that helps you win matches more often. Ride on a friendly titan when you can. A titan with a pilot on with an anti titan weapon vs just a titan you see how that scenario is playing out.
Michael Henderson but, at the same time, you risk getting killed accidentally while riding a friendly titan, so I think it's better to just follow one.
One most essential tip overlooked is get your mouse settings right (pc). My game was horrible until several tweaks later. Default settings may not be the best.
You should have mentioned that the cloak doesn't make you completely invisible. I learned this the hard way and was really confused, because in singleplayer nobody was able to see me. In multiplayer the cloak is good if there is a lot of action going on. If you want to take on an enemy that is somewhere alone, a cloak propably isn't such a good idea. Awesome video tho!
I just started playing yesterday and it's such a breath of fresh air. Great beginner tips. I still have trouble killing titans but I'll try to get their batteries instead
Any placed satchel charges can be detonated by double tapping reload. Good for traps or if you need to take some shots. Takes a sec to pull out the detonator but will automatically switch back to your primary. It was in CoD and then Titanfall 1. Good to see it come through.
Not sure if the narrator was aware, but since he didn't mention it: with Northstar, you can "charge" the weapon the same way you can with Legion. You can see the level of charge on the crosshairs. If you let your Northstar weapon charge to full, you can take out an enemy titan in about 5 shots. If you directly hit the pilot compartment (highlighted in red) on a titan with low health with a full Northstar charge, you can one shot them.
Ronin is best used as a frontline meat shield or as a distraction, as his sword block reduces 75% damage and his movement speed can make him a perfect distraction.
If you are on console, you have the option to switch your button layout to bumper jumper, which will let you jump easier while trying engage in combat with LB instead of A.
You just earned a sub, I’ve been watching your vids and I was interested in looking for suggestion channels on titanfall 2 but your channel is the best won I found for it, on your titan vid of which one is good for you I picked ronin then you showed me what he can really do and how it’s suitable for me and you showed me his potential.
I played the first titanfall game when it first came out. Titanfall 2 looks more modern and look really great but too few maps :( They balanced the game so i am fine. Still hates the smart pistol but shotguns is more annoying in this game xD
Friend and I just got it after Orgin finally came back online. The couple of games amounted to 1 hour of yelling about not understanding how there is always someone where you're not looking or mechanics seeming random with the titans.
I played the first Titanfall during the beta on a super laggy pc when it first came out. Just bought this game for my ps4 and I love it. I don't know why I didn't buy it sooner
Disregard 7. Currently charge-hack charge rifle is the best anti titan, and can be a one shot when amped. There is a time and place for running the Wingman and you will work them out once you have played a lot.
The multiplayer in TF2 is the only one I've seen that actually teaches you important stuff for the multiplayer. You'll still have a lot to learn but there's much to learn than just a new slide ability and the like.
i wish the map design was as good as the first. Also I feel some titans are way more powerful than other titans. I love scorch but his average life time is like 5 sec. Pilots also feel a lot more vunerable to titans because of these vast empty horizontal maps
Quantum Witcher the only maps that feel out of place in attrition are homestead and firebase kodai. these maps were designed for different modes such as bounty hunter and ctf respectively. I do feel the maps aren't as imaginative though, nothing as good as dig site, haven, sand trap or war games yet
I find the laser anti titan weapon to be really good with the reduced charge rate and lower dmg. If you aim for the crit spots on a titan you can deal a ton of dmg with it. Only down side I'd say it has us the giant laser that tells enemies where you are
This is great for beginners but many of these tackticks don't work once you start getting into advanced parts of the game. Note: USE ANTI-TITAN WEAPONS. An archer/thunderbolt can deals more damage than some grenades or even titan weapons.
I'm liking the look of the multiplayer in this game which is strange because I usually don't like futuristic shooters. I find them too hard usually but I really like the titans in this game
One time I was playing frontier defense and I had an Ion. I was with another player, a scorch. We partnered up, the other teammates split up, and we found a small cliff to shoot from. The scorch player stayed in his titan and held the choke point, while my titan and I focused on weakening the enemies. I jumped out of Blue (what I call my Ion) and I went on the buildings and fired my anti titan weapon like crazy. Blue supported me and the scorch, and absolutely nothing got past us.
Hey I’m gonna say it the a wall isn’t very good because not only does it encourage camping it’s easy to push people out of it while wall running or just using a titan, I recommend the stim, grapple, and phase personally because they can help you out a tough situation while also encouraging you to move, if you go with sniper pick cloak because unlike phase you can fire you weapon while cloak it will just uncloack you
Know when to fight, and know when to run. If you find yourself in a situation that you are either not prepared for or you cannot win, it is often better to fall back and come up with a different strategy. Also, make sure that you don't do the same thing over and over, because when people get wise to what you're doing they will begin to counter it. Just remember that being predictable is deadly, but being unpredictable is unstoppable.
Lemmie sum these up for you: 1. Play the game to get practice 2. Wall-running is great, but it can be shit. Figure it out. 3. Here are what the titans do, you could've figured this out by reading. 4. Credits are rare. 5. (Actually a decent tip, but for *serious* beginners) Use batteries. 6. Anti-titan weaponry exists, mostly again read. 7. Anti-titan weaponry is useless. 8. Running is great, but it can be shit. Figure it out. 9. Shoot things. 10. Boosts exist, mostly again read. 11. Check the game inbox because the flashing lights around your inbox weren't hint enough. Come on, these aren't tips.
In the first titanfall I just went into the game with no knowledge of what was going to happen and two or three days of playing the game I was always on the top three players on my team so self discovery is the best way to learn
Thanks for the video. I just bought this game on sale a few days ago and I loved the campaign! However I really suck at multiplayer because of a late start and just being ok at fps games. So this sort of video is great. 👍😎
this game is amazing.. campaign was really intense and multiplayer is great as well.. i honestly don't understand why this game's reputation is so obscure
I bought it after BF1 and I don't regret it. I am having more fun with Titanfall, but alas I still have to say that I preferred the some of the choices made in TF1. Like the transitions when you got in a titan. way more stylish. I also miss some of the old maps. like that one in the city (I don't remember the name)
SOME REAL TIPS Cloak will make you completely invisible to enemy titans You can hack specters If you eject while a pilot is rodeoing, the pilot will be right below you in mid air You can kill enemies with pulse blades(dont try) You can upgrade your pilot after lvl 50 BONUS Little messages are written on the titans cocpit right before you eject
I played the campaign on medium, hard and master before even touching the multiplayer and on my first match I got second overall and on my second match I got 1st overall.
Just watched the video and the only really helpful tip you can get from it is the first, if you go in today without knowing a thing of how the mechanics work you're gonna get crushed. But if you are new to the game, watch some videos of titanfall movement, practice and experiment with all kinds of loadouts. Another tip, don't do tip number 8, always be moving.
