Aye, that was EAs intention. The people that like this stuff will go to Titanfall and the people that like large maps with total destruction will go to Battlefield. It's cool to see that it's actually working.
@@mahmoudnimer5052 I'd like to point out this was basically how 'slow' it was at first, was the same during the Technical Test and after that they got "complaints" and sped up the gameplay to the point we all know and love! :)

It was Activision who fired them. Apparently there were some contract breaches and Activision did not like that. And judging by what i have seen of Infinite Warfare so far, "Infinity Ward" definitely does count.
Seriously my brother looks at me playing matches and tells me all the time: 'man i can kick ass on call of duty or siege or battlefield but that gameplay is on another level! I wouldn't be able to keep up'. I just laugh and keep playing
Imagine them wetting their feet in Titanfall 1. Where you chained wallruns and had an increased top speed, not to mention the extra verticality of the first one. Respawn did well regardless with both. Can't wait for that third installment.
Infinite warfare's creators got halo5 and rubbed it in mud, shat on it, smeared grease and oil all over it and slapped the name "infinite warfare" on it
I got it as a Christmas gift when I was like what, 10? For the PS4 then I got it on Xbox One and now that I have a damn PC I spent 20$ to play it even with the low player count. So fucking fun in 2020.
People thought I was stupid a year ago when I said Titanfall 2 was gonna be great and the devs would fix most of the previous problems. And look where we are..
+c vasil Its just criticism towards the motion tracker. I liked the first game's much better. Again, its not something that ruins it, as the game looks amazing. There's just that component that i think they can improve.
MW2 was unbalanced AF, they just focused on how many guns and killstreakers they could fit into one game. Titanfall 2 is certainly going to be the same, really fun but gets old quick and completely unbalanced.
Jose Hernandez The first Titanfall was fairly balanced, the R101C was overpowered for way too long. Everything else was alright I guess. But it looks like Titanfall 2 is basically just adding a bunch of new weapons and features that will likely become unbalanced/unfair in multiplayer and knowing the Titanfall devs, it'll either never get fixed or it will go untouched for too long. My main problem with Titanfall was not being able to select the maps I wanted so that I could play them offline to gain map knowledge. Plus, after you unlocked all the weapons it got boring, even with the whole "pilot generations" thing. It's still the same weapons, the same perks/skills, the same maps... It just got old fast and they never really did anything substantial to fix this.
nonname123 well at the start of the campaign they only had two days in game until the end of the game happen so I don’t know if they can make it longer
Smurfson mabey it was scrapped or it will be in a future dlc because they changed the 6-4 lady to in game model because respawn was considering putting jack as a faction. Or it might just be her in the old skin 🤷
I'm late to the party but what they did is used a old titanfall 2 player model for gates until they could get the titanfall 1 female pilot model for her.
The absolute best part is that, thanks to the Tech Test, I've already played on these maps, fired these guns, and piloted these Titans. I can confirm that the game is just as hardcore as the trailer shows. Tech test this weekend. Download that sucker.
nobody wants a futuristic cod, it just doesn't work. titan fall started out as space shooter. Cod started off as old school boots on the ground realistic warfare but now they want to go to space. wtf stay true to your roots, I know they have to be different each time they make a game but that is their fault they should stop bringing out a game every year because they half ass it everytime. Instead make a great game and take 3 or 2 years off to make a even better one. Think what MW2 would have been like if activision decided to make the lifespan of it last up to 3 years. Battlefield come out once very 3 cods and it just keeps getting better and better
Titanfall was underrated, if only it had a proper story mode, multiplayer depth and custom stuff it would have been perfect, hopefully they get it right this time.
I agree, except I got sick of the mech combat after a while. A good mech player could make you worthless out of a mech. I really liked when they released the no mech mode.
yup....the gameplay was so fun....its like even tho it was so little content...the game still was fun enough to play day after day.....dats why i know titanfall can be a huge game that can lost years if they put more heart in the game and put more content in it
Gravity grenades? Yes, please. I always thought it was pretty slick how the Titan can grab you and put you in the cockpit no matter how you approach it. I'm looking forward to a single player campaign this time around. Multiplayer is fun and all, but I appreciate a good story.
That'd be cool, but maybe slightly over powered for a game? Seems to me they just suck you in and you just float there for a bit, helpless. At least in a scenario like that there is a chance for a team mate rescue before you get killed.
SBC 909 I don't think there's a connection from the first one, being that there wasn't too much of a story. The first game throws you into a online- only, objective oriented campaign, fighting on the side of the Malitia or IMC, with some in- game cutscenes. The second installment seems to have a more coherent campaign, while playing as the main protagonists, Rifleman Jack Cooper BT7274. Type in Titanfall movie on RU-vid, and you'll be able to watch the entire "Story" there.
Only recently started playing Titanfall 2, and I wanted to see how they promoted it. Also to indicate that the community mourns Titandall 3. Apex seems like a superb battle royal, but I'm not interested in those at present.
It's truly funny. I loved Titan fall 1. It remains my favorite shooter to this day. It defeinetly had its issues though. Unlike COD, it appears they listened to us. They fixed what appeared to be wrong. The game isn't out yet, but I anticipate this being the best shooter game to date
Salazar2525 I wasn't referring to futuristic. I like the futuristic style games. Not as much as the modern warfare series, but I don't hate it. It has just become to formulaic. especially with the addition of supply drops, which we have all said we hate. I just thing Titanfall 2 won't be annoying like COD has become.
CoD has been dead since Advanced Warfare its only saving grace right now is the CoD4 remaster but that is also going to kill CoD even more since you HAVE to buy Infinite Warfare to get it this game will be right up there with BF1

+EndZiiel did you play it yet we got to wait and see, also by the looks of the trailer you can see all the new features, the devs even said themselves they learned their mistakes from the first game.
Shame the camera doesn't go inside with you when you enter your titan with the new 3rd person animations. Loved how it felt in TF1 when you'd see the hatch closing down on you in first person when you went in. Now it just cuts to a static 3rd person camera that shows your pilot getting in and that's it. Still, just a minor complain to a game that's fantastic, i haven't enjoyed competitive MP games for a long time really [like 2 or 3 years], i usually get bored of them nowadays fast but TF2 manages to actually make me boot it up every few days to play 5 or so matches here and there. Hope it doesn't die fast like TF1 did. I mainly stick to SP and Co-op with friends but TF2 made me start playing comp. mp again and bring back the salt of playing a comp. mp game :v.
The reason why they changed the animation is because in the 1st game you couldnt see anyone behind you which catches you off guard and ends up you losing your titan instantly
@@samspamster yeah that makes sense, I use the 3rd person animation to check for enemy titans which is actually really helpful. It's really cool how even the animations can serve a gameplay purpose
+Toxic to me COD Will die eventualy. not that people Will stop playing it (9 years Old Will still play because it is cod), but because they have capitalized WAY too mutch on their lead. for the last 5 cod at least, they took the older one, add 2 new weapons, one new map and done! new game for the following year. it alowed them to keep their lead by forcing other developers (like titanfall 1) to realease their games too early so they don't lose their playerbase (and they do in the long run because of that). but, now because the other games learn from their mistakes (like titanfall 2) and cod keep doing the exact same thing, more and more people are no longer seeing te cod as a game, but as a 1 year money sink with season passes that don't do anything. they won't die, but because of their mistakes, they Will lose probably a lot of their playerbase to other games, and get backfired by their own marketing tactics. i played titanfall 1, was cool but needed more, this one looks promissing IF THEY DON'T MICROTRANSACTION THEIR GAME TO DEATH!
This trailer is in fact, much slower than a real game. As a pilot, you fly at break-neck speeds, yet somehow you can still see and take in all of your surroundings.
And the funny thing is the company everybody calls the worst, EA, is releasing BOTH while the actual shit publisher, Activision, is finally being seen for the money grubbing shits they are.
Yep, this will definitely be EA's year. Im still pissed off that AW and BO3 ripped the double jump/ thrusters straight from the original Titanfall. I just have faith that this year we will have alot more players to be able to play a variety of gamemodes other than attrition, frontier defence and campaign. One last thing, I really hope that the OG ogre titan returns.

I also think the first one had some great things that the second one doesn't have like the movement and also the second one looks more cartoonish but overall it's a good change

I actually might consider Infinite Warfare over Battlefield 1 simply because i love sci-fi and history. By that, i mean that Infinite Warfare is sci-fi, looks like sci-fi and feels like sci-fi. Meanwhile, Battlefield 1 has so many historical inaccuracies that it hurts. And historical accuracy is what makes or breaks a historical game.
"boots on the ground" Yeah that explains why all recent CoD games have had shit like jet packs, jump packs and now space ships. The games haven't been "boots on the ground" since Black Ops/Modern Warfare 3.
*RESPAWN* the developers behind Call of Duty: 4 and Modern Warfare 2, easily 2 of the best Call of Duty games to grace the franchise. Back when it was fresh, exciting and fuelled by progression. Honestly, Titanfall was pretty fun, lot's of potential but ended up feeling a little underwhelming. However, I'm so excited for a sequel, didn't expect it so soon with BF1. I'll support this game as the developers have already proven themselves. More maps, more modes!
Yeah, they have already proven themselves to be too lazy to include single player into a game that costs almost a hundred dollars. It took a riot with pitchforks for them to realize that people want their moneys worth and finally delivered, its just too bad that they basically just modded the first one. It still looks awesome though, I am definitely not saying it wont be a great game.

With the time it takes to lock on with a smart pistol, a decent player would have killed you with a normal gun. Way faster. Smart pistol isn't a very good weapon. lol.
The only thing that EA has left to do would be to bundle titanfall and battlefield 1 together and call it "THE COD KILLER COLLECTION ULTIMATE EDITION, pre order now and get the exclusive ea buttfucking activision figurine and poster"
the bundle also needs a modified sims 3 with sims that look like Activision employees and with their life dreams " wants to get burnt ," "wants to get drowned" etc

I was hoping for pilot customization like how halo 3 did it, but after doing research on the website, it looks like the ability the pilot (grappling hook, teleportation, etc.) determines what the character looks like. On the website the character with the grappling hook is a robot, and the one using the grappling hook in the trailer is a robot as well
The special ability does determine what the pilot looks like but I'm pretty sure that there's going to be some type of pilot customization. The pilot at the beginning of the video had the grappling hook ability but was a human, not a robot like what you saw on the website and later in the trailer. Maybe they're adding a robot pilot option to the male and female option we had in Titanfall 1? They'll probably reveal more stuff closer to the beta.
Hlebka the engine has been severely overhauled. you don't just write an engine and make entire game from that. it costs too much money and is too time consuming. it isn't the 2004 version of the engine.
