@@prestongarvey57 I’ll admit most of its theory but by going off how they operate and comparing them to mercenary pilots who really have shown themselves to be the superior pilots in the universe due to custom mods and a more varied experience among the frontier with the merc Droz taking down Bangalore in seconds. Imc has shown to be a very quantity over quality and while obviously there is quality it was falling behind a militia in Titanfall 2 by the fact the vanguard class titans while being a lot fewer in numbers they were essentially walking gods compared to a regular imc pilot/Titan but “struggled” against an apex Titan who share the same chassis as the imc Titans

And one of them is killer inside out by phase shift

Admittedly, both grunts faced by the pilot also had pilot training, meaning they had the skills of a pilot, but none of the Equipment. So they would know how to evade the strikes of a pilot, but the moment a Single punch connects, it should be over. Plus the war was over, maybe that pilot lost his edge?

Pilots in tf use their jump kit to increase the strength, but this dumbass decided to 1v2 and missed shot with smart pistol

Well as someone who likes apex and hasnt played titanfall i think the game is going to shit and id love to see a titanfall release again. They trying to turn apex into the league of legends battle royal this season. Twice as many games a day to grind, solo players that are good cant carry as easily cuz kill p is halved. And they made ratting pay off even more somehow. Season 20 of apex gonna be like: yeah every kill u get is 1 point, and only the top 2 teams gets bonus rp. Also we stopped being able to keep up with the guns and legends we made so half of them are too weak or too strong, have fun climbing people who actually work jobs!!!!!!!!

@@sprayender2002 Pretty sure she is. In one of the books, it said that she was just about to graduate pilot school/training but the war happened, and she wasn't able to graduate because of it. That's why she doesn't have pilot gear or a titan. At least I think, I don't keep up with Tf2/apex lore anymore

@@raine- Well he was trained by Lastimosa because (I think) he saw Cooper's potential to be a really good pilot. He was well on his way to getting his first titan so we could say he's a fast learner or somewhat.

So.. I get the smart pistol thing. He already had them locked on to shoot. But anything can be upgraded (legal or not) Just like the black market in titanfall one with one of the upgrades boosting your jump kit to run on walls longer. He was a probably a long time serving pilot so he had to pay a big price for an advanced jumpkit.

He barely lost to two “grunts” which are actually highly decorated soldiers in their own regard. Everyone has died to a grunt at some point in Titanfall. No matter how high and mighty you are, even a grunt can kill you.

Again they were ripped from the Titanfall series because of their EA contract. Respawn made Apex Legends to help fund the next Titanfall but because it got so much success EA told them it was their primary focus and were not allowed to work on Titanfall at all.

It's really not that deep. Respawn still loves Titanfall and only made Apex Legends because they were bought by EA and that's what EA told them to make. They've even admitted that Apex was literally supposed to be Titanfall 3, but they couldn't get Titans to work in a satisfying way in a Battle Royale so they cut out the Titans and renamed the game because they didn't want to put the Titanfall name on something that wasn't Titanfall.

He would access to use over powered versions of a lot of the abilities in this game. He can walk run, double jump. Shall I go on? To put that pilot into the game they’d have to nerf him heavily plus they would destroy the Titanfall 2 story even more. Ash died before Valk’s dad did so having them be together is ridiculous already but then adding the person who killed Ash into a game with each other makes no sense.

I'm simply stating that I wouldn't be a "stomp" or flawless victory. Just because the skills used by the legends aren't the same from TF doesn't mean they're not powerful in their own rights especially when you consider the characters themselves clearly know how to use their abilities to develop their own tactics in combat. We also need to remember that it seems pilots also get one ablity per kit. Why don't we get to ever use a multi kit? Well other than developing reasons lore wise would simply be its too heavy to stay that mobile. A pilot needs to be quick so just like the legends they'd only have access to one kind of it whether it be only radar knife for example or grapple hook or cloak. Now maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm forgetting one of TF2's commercials or something and maybe they can multi kit but they certainly wouldn't have everything all at once (again. Mobility would be a issue because military equipment weight piles up in real life) And as a TF2 fan i can acknowledge that the legends are no pushovers. Out of 10 fights each i see an average of 6-7 victories going to the pilot. But they're hard fought victories. Also it wouldn't need to be Jack Cooper, it could be any pilot which does change the ablity at disposal. If it were Cooper then all he'd really have *is* Cloak which while very strategically important isn't a guarantee victory.

@@torntokoroa3357 1 I wasn’t talking about a “multi kit” I was saying how a pilot has access meaning he can change what kit he has where as the legends are stuck with what they have. 2 The legends are strong in their own right but there’s a reason they are in the games and not in the military and yeah they create their own tactics to fight but clearly certain legends are stronger than others. If they put Cooper in that would completely destroy the lore but it wouldn’t be hard fought victories he’d win 10-0 like a piece of cake. Ash wasn’t even that strong in TF2. Any old pilot though still going to be a very strong legend and to make it fair they’d have to nerf it ridiculously because of what a pilot can compared to the legends. Yes I know TF 2 has significantly better movement and is geared towards a pilot but if you want a lore based pilot you’d need that movement not what Apex is. Every single thing they have ported over has been nerfed drastically and the pilot would be no different. To make a pilot fit and be just another legend would be an injustice to Titanfall and would break lore but it would make a much closer fight of maybe 5-5 or 6-4.
