The reciprocating engines turn the opposite of eachother not the same way. The port prop turns counter clockwise when moving "ahead" and the center and starboard prop turn clockwise when going ahead. :)

1:17 this scene is beautiful. Titanic just casually steaming across the atlantic with her 4 tall mighty funnels, and the 3 front funnels blowing steam from the boilers used to power the gigantic engines. with the birds flying in front of it. You can see the endless ocean in the background with a beautiful blue sky. I cannot stop staring at this fantastic scene titanic is so majestic, she's a symbol of how luxuriously big naval architecture could reach. i know its impossible to save the whole wreckage but we at least need to get some stuffs from it like the marconi radio for the next generation of people to study. The legend of titanic and its survivors shouldn't end

What’s sad is had they had all the modern technology for sailing and ship building all those years ago they have now. I don’t think most of them would have sank. Then of course there’s the one little fact that’s painful. If it floats it can sink. Ship, boat, etc. if it goes in the water it can slip beneath the surface no matter how unsinkable they think it is. All the people’s lives lost are the saddest part to me of any shipwreck. They can build more ships.

Some minor corrections: 1) The Blue ensign is backward. The crosses field should be at the flagstaff. 2) The turbine engine powering the center propeller shaft was not reversible. The turbine was inoperative in reverse or when the main engines were at less than about 1/2 speed forward.

Also the engines were never set to reverse they were stopped and kept that way until after the collision when they were set to half speed ahead for a few minutes then stopped again for good.

Anderson, muito bom, só achei uma falha, próximo a colisão do Iceberg os motores foram revertidos, porém a turbina central não era possível reversão, ela ficou parada.

Can I just say GREAT, BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING job. But there's two problems. 1 the two front shelter's or whatever their called on each side of the bridge stuck out more, it was Olympic who's like that. 2 when they spotted the iceberg and when they went to turn her, it was only the right propeller that turned, not all three of them.

As far as I know according to most histories, engines does not support the middle propeller for reverse. Only the side propellers. But the animation was totally awesome. 😁

Excellent! You have done a great job! Only an observation. The central propeller on the Titanic was driven by a low pressure turbine... which was not reversible. Thus it would have propelled the ship forward unless stopped.

The centre propeller was turbine driven. It was impossible to reverse with it. Btw amazing animation.

Good job, although the movement of the pistons lack of naturalness. However, there is an error compared to the historical truth: in the clip, while the Titanic backtracked to brake, his three propellers turn upside down. But in reality the central propeller was unable to turn in the opposite direction, and thus had remained motionless, as can be seen in Cameron's film. But this is the first time I see a video of the Titanic in 3D WITH people on it. Hoping to see part 2 with the sinking, always with people.

Thoroughly excellent animations, small note the sound of the triple expansion engine is far too fast for that many revolutions and doesn’t really time with such excellent work otherwise.

This animation is great, but also the triumphant music. But why does it stop several times, which is confusing and distracting from the video? Was there a problem with uploading the soundtrack? The video would be much better with the complete music track.

A great video, but why is the music suddenly off at some points? (Or is it my computer which has problems?) For instance, the sound starts at 0:10 and lasts till 1:16, then suddenly stops. The sound reappears at 1:53 but for only one second.

This video shows a wrong thing that smoke is coming out of the four chimneys, but the reality was that the smoke was coming out of the three chimneys. The fourth chimney was for the balance of the ship, but you have made a good video.

Excellent graphics, animation and sound, but why do the great music and sound suddenly stop, e.g at 1:15 ? They also start suddenly at 0:10 , so the first ten seconds are silent (mute).

Perfect except one thing, Titanic was not reversed the engines were stopped but nothing more. The rest is totally majestic and perfect :)

When her engines were ran full a stern her turbine engine which ran her center propeller didn't have a reversing gear only her side props did.
