The D Deck Reception area of Titanic sinking demo made by Vintage Digital Revival in Unreal Engine. Experience an early test of the sinking mode and witness the D Deck Reception room flood in real time. titanichg.com/
It's probably because of Cameron's film. Before 1997 Titanic wasn't that big of a deal. It was more along the lines of the Hindenberg disaster. People knew about it sure but it didn't hold the glory that it does now. That's because of Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, and James Cameron.
Because there was no point. By the time D-Deck was flood, there was both ABOVE and Under the floor. Down stair there was water broken through the watertight door while some water had already leaked from the top floor.
The sinking of the Titanic claimed over 1,500 lives. It must have been an awful event to live, the anguish one has to deal with drowning and knowing there is nothing you can do about it. The trauma must have been very heavy for the families of the deceased until today. People who survived this tragedy are still alive today, and their family to whom they told this story is also still alive. And there are people who find it smart to make a video game about the horror that took place during this accident. People are more and more attracted by money and lose their humanity. Bunch of idiots!
You might want to think before speaking and calling other people idiots... The titanic sunk over 110 years ago. The last survivor died in 2009 at 97 years old and was 2 months old when the Titanic sank. This "game" is a highly accurate historical recreation and virtual museum of the RMS Titanic made by a small but highly passionate team. If you're in it for the money you don't start a project like this...
@@waltdistel716 I do not care. We don't play with people's memories. We do not play with such a horrible event which must have been a real nightmare for 1500 people, and we do not justify ourselves by saying that we can afford it because there is no one alive today. This is a considerable lack of respect for the memory of these people. You don't make a video game out of a drama. Here is the summary of this video game: "Titanic: Honor and Glory is a video game in development in which the player will play a young student accused of several crimes: he will then have to flee on the Titanic because he knows that the real criminals have boarded it and that he will thus be able to prove his innocence by unmasking them." You are idiots.
@@waltdistel716 There is a difference between a museum, a documentary or a reenactment whose purpose will be to bear witness to the horror of the tragedy and what the victims experienced, and a video game that takes place during a horrific event that actually happened, and whose purpose is to entertain and amuse the player. If you can't see the nuance, the subtlety between the homage paid by a museum or a reconstruction and the lack of respect commited by a video game, it may be because you are stupid. Maybe it's because you don't realize that the dead shouldn't be disrespected in any way by making the drama they lived through a means of entertainment that your intellect approaches that of an animal, and that this world gradually descend into chaos.
Nope. 999 "Titanic" was not even based off the Titanic but instead it was based off her sister "Britannic". Heck. 999 Titanic was not even on the same scale as the real thing since some of the room had change for puzzle purpose.
A demo from 2015 uploaded in 2022? Did you not think to make an updated demo? Who cares what you did on the project 7 years ago, whats it like now? Shouldn't you be finished already?
Because the sinking demo isn’t the actual project, which the second half of that disclaimer literally says Also this isn’t even uploaded by the people who make it so I’m not entirely sure who you’re talking to
