Titanic: Honor and Glory is a video game currently under development by Vintage Digital Revival. The game is expected to feature the most accurate digital representation of the RMS Titanic to date, as well as a model of the city of Southampton in 1912.

It makes you realize just how beautiful and huge this ship was. Everything was so ornate. The highest quality craftsmanship, all to end up on the bottom of the Atlantic on her maiden voyage.

All of this was lost because of stupid decisions. They've been warned for days about icebergs. They should stop at night and travel only at daytime.

I have a book with actual photos (mainly the Olympic but some Titanic) and the H&G team did such an outstanding job. All the insanely detailed woodwork is there, all the fittings, everything in the photos are in the game, even the patterns on the furniture are identical. What throws me even further is that the Alpha is going to be even more sorted. This is more than a game. It is a revolution.

I Personally think the entire game, ESPECIALLY THE INSIDE Looks SOOOOOOOOO Much better at night.. Don't know if it's a setting but the overall graphics appear to be more crisp and the color tones more realistic in the NIGHT mode setting.

As someone who lived in SoCal & grew up going to the Queen Mary alot & exploring her, I really look forward to exploring the Titanic. The level of detail is so amazing; I love it.

Very beautiful interior on the ship, the hallways and other rooms. Is this the actual interior? Exactly how it looked like? How could you tell exactly how it looked like when it's been 110 years since it sank? Especially in consideration to it has to be so damaged by now because of all the water! Anyhow It's a real shame it ended the way it did!😞

Mission idea: You receive a telegram that due to high risk of ice in the area you are to figure out a way to make your way to the cargo store and remove a secret box from inside the only car aboard the Titanic. If you are succesful you will be awarded safe passage onto a lifeboat in case of the ship striking an iceberg.

Can someone clarify that it wasnt just me who thought the bathroom in the first class cabin looked a bit rough and ready? Exposed rivets and piping. Were first class bathrooms really like that?

i mean…did you really expect a marble and guilt bathroom? it’s not just the 1st class baths, most *all* bathrooms on the ship (and ships in general at the time) looked like that. but it’s only lacking in decor. the amenities and service were quite good.

this is also a very rough demo, its used more by the devs as a blueprint for the game they are building that has a upcoming alpha release sometime soon. the alpha will also be using Unreal Engine 5, so it should take a jump in graphical performance too ;)

She had 10 decks in total. From top to bottom they were the Boat Deck, the Promenade Deck (deck A), passenger decks B to G, Orlop Deck, and the Tank Top.

There is an older demo you can download that's VR capable. It's incredible. Standing next to that ship and seeing it "in person" is a dream come true.

On the top deck if you have headphones on, it will play in the ears like it's directional... At one point it disappears like it was a distance away then slowly came back..

I’m actually impressed with the second class rooms and dining/leisure areas - I always thought they were bland and boring but there’re actually quite luxurious in their own right. But first class is really where it’s at 😍
