Titanic Leaving the Lough & A Fig for a Kiss
Marking the 109th anniversary this week of the sinking of RMS Titanic on her maiden voyage in 1912 - here's a performance of the air 'Titanic Leaving the Lough' by Patrick Davey. This tune is part of 'The Loch Lao Story' which tells the history of Belfast Lough through the ages. The tune is followed by the popular slip jig 'A Fig for a Kiss'.
Patrick is joined here by two more of the many wonderful musicians who regularly join him at weddings throughout Ireland: sisters Catherine Reid on fiddle and Aoife McGinn on Harp.
