This is perfection on piano as we know it. Best version....period! I have not heard anything better than this. It is played with pure honesty and feeling. Totally emotional and goose bump-inducing.

Let me tell you how much I love this one: About twelve years ago, after watching it over and over, I decided to learn to play the piano. I bought my first digital piano, and it was the exact same model and color as the one in the video, which I won in an auction on eBay. The first piece I learned was, of course, this one, painstakingly figuring it out note by note. Thank you, yoursoul85. Thank you Marc for keeping this video up. I’ve seen this video a long time ago and every time I want to hear a piano instrumental I always go back here. I’m a very big fan of this player and let my friends hear it. Piano is just like singing, it should played from the heart and soul and this cover perfectly expressed the feelings in the movie . Arailym Iskakova sorry to inform you but the person that uploaded this video isnt the one playing the piano and isn't the one with the skills, this video, skills, etc. belong to a guy who's account got hacked years ago and has since created another account and page....his name is yoursoul85...his page name I believe is the same just different spelling like capital letters not all lower case letters...yoursoul85 has also done a cover of Forrest Gump and a few others, you should look him up and check out the videos that he was lucky enough to be able to reload to RU-vid

We know this but it is the only copy available still on youtube, he credits him in the opening. Be thankful that he has provided us with this beautiful rendition. But you are correct that yoursouls85 is the artist and I wish they still played for us.
I think we all like this cover because it's raw and full of soul, unlike all the piano covers where people just try to show off how much of a maestro they are.

His rendition always were those whom i played until now, for me its the best that it always made me cry. Especially forest gump theme were it will take you to another world.

Also, I have to say this...Titanic's main theme is possibly the greatest film composition ever created. James Horner is truly a beautiful human being for flawlessly capturing the emotion of the film so beautifully. Titanic is pure art! In story, sound and vision. I don't think anything will come along that surpasses this film in a very, very long time. It's one of those things that just resonates with the entire world...it's a very rare thing.

The main difference between this version as opposed to the other many great versions that have been uploaded is this player is just FEELING the notes. The other versions are almost cookie cutter? It’s the difference between memorizing something vs playing with feeling. Each time a player plays a note with feeling it’s just as unique as a finger print. Kudos
