The Sevr 2.0 Robusto broadheads really fly well and cut through my hog targets. I can just imagine what they will do on the real thing. I'm shooting a Excalibur Micro 355.
Recently ordered in some of these broadheads and was quite excited to try them out. A week ago I got my opportunity and had a well placed shot on a whitetail . The entry wound was double the width of the blades and the deer expired in less than sixty yards. The Sevr blew through a rib enroute to the heart. Much to my chagrin, the point of the Sevr was rolled over from this and one of the blades also rolled an edge. I wouldn’t have expected the blades to do that since they swivel from side to side but they are replaceable, so not a big deal. I was shocked to see the ferrule tip rolled over though. That basically makes these a single use item.
I've shot 2 deer with SEVR heads. I really love the design but I hate the deployment arms that cover the small section of cutting blade. You guys fix that so that none of the blades are covered you will have something amazing.
Seems like it would be easy to change the design where the blunt little edges aren’t protruding past the blade edges. What’s the deal? Can’t you just cut an edge to that part or even make it sharp?
