This is a very good exercise. I tried it, it's difficult at first, but after more than a few tries I saw some progress. I have trouble filling gaps, but with the help of this video, I have to say; I am getting it, still practicing. Thanks a bunch.👍👍

That's a great exercise for being able to step across the gap I forget what other channel I've watched but I encourage you to try that machine with 3/32 6010 on 110 because it can do it and I tried it it does work just make sure you have a 30 amp breaker

I have the same welder I've been at it for 2 weeks now, I'm using 6011 3/32 I'm terrible I can weld metal together but it looks like crap, just doesn't feel like I'm getting any better! Don't know what to do

me and you both we should keep talking, Im a hobbyist . But lineman By trade so I have a huge bit of understandiing on mechanical stuff. What have you been doing rcently Running Beads??

Yea I' can run a decent bead, but when I got to weld two pieces together it's like I'm starting all over again, if it does weld together it looks like crap, I've had my welder for two months now, I'm getting a little better with running beads on a flat surface, but other than that I'm pretty bad, like I said if it sticks together it looks like crap, or it just comes apart! You look like your pretty good! Sorry just seen your reply! I try to practice at least twice a week for an hour or so but it doesn't always happen!

Try 7014 3/32. It works well and easy striking an arc too. (Especially for us new learning how) Cheers!

I'm new to welding. But just to clarify. You are using a Titanium stick 225 welder on 240 V input with a 120 V output setting. Is that correct?

Hey, great question for this video I was running my welder off of a 110 V. And I was using a 3/32 6011 rod from KT industries that I picked up at my local Ace Hardware thanks again.

That was some very impressive root welding that I thought for sure was from the 240 v outlet and not a 120 v outlet. I don't have 240 v in my garage and was thinking about purchasing the Titanium 225 welder. Thank you for your videos.
