I was just curious if you meant biased for it or against it. I've openly admitted I have not liked the first 2 seasons but I'm still here watching hoping to like the next one! You can see the HBO money in that tiger so I hope it carries over into the story too!
@@coreywallace2052 well the fact that hbomax bought the property and continue the season on their streaming channel means that the data show that Titans have a good fanbase. If no one watch s2 then they wouldn't continue it
I find it interesting that they blended Death in the Family and The Dark Knight Returns story. Bruce is older and after Dick tells him if he can't handle it anymore, then he should quit; so he does but kills Joker to do so, because you can't have one without the other like Babara told him.
This is the best DC product out now period . I loved the first 2 seasons the first 3 episodes are crazy . If DC goes in this direction They can actually get some wins .
i'm so happy you are reacting to titans, i think my fav reactors won't react to it (blindwave) which is quite sad, could you maybe react to the expanse pretty please?
@@pinemarv4303 right? I heard that maybe they will once the season is done and if it's good. it's just...I also can't blame them they were 100% done with the ending of season 2. And tbh season 3 is good so far but not really really good.
It makes sense because they do SO MANY shows that if they aren't liking it that they should probably feel it out. I'm giving it these 3 episodes to see if it hooks me to finishing. I'll watch it all regardless but it takes a lot of time to edit reactions and all that jazz
@@Omn1Media I can imagine all the work🥺, tbh I'll truly watch it just because I love everything about Dick Grayson but I won't blame you if you stop watching. But i also think that by the end of episode 3 you'll be hooked and surprised
A huge problem I have with this show is lack of background material with characters. They use the time between seasons (always 3 months) to just do a soft reboot and never explain the why's and the how's. Like, tell me how Kory got her suit and her powers back and is MORE POWERFUL than previous seasons. Hell, tell me why her hair decided to change to a darker/black red. Did she dye it or was it changing to a darker hue from the lack of powers I assumed from last season - which now makes no sense bc here she is with powers again LOL. And also, If she was just "given" a suit from the same people who created Nightwing's, then there's no reason why Gar couldn't have one either. It doesn't even have to be a huge scene, just a little background info or lines of dialogue here and there. Don't just always assume the audience knows how they got from point A to B. But I did like the first three episodes and I hope the show goes up from there. Hopefully with less Bat material and more Titans stuff.
Oh I definitely agree on that. My biggest turn off has been just the characters themselves being inconsistent in their feelings, motivations, and personalities. On that note, from this little taste it feels better expect with the Bruce stuff, feels like we are retreading thatzz
Looks like they are sweeping under those plot holes and focusing on the good of the season, which I’m all for…but yeah so much unexplained things within those 3 months
Dick Grayson got a lot of flak in Season 2 for seemingly just projecting a lot of his emotional problems onto Bruce Wayne and villifying him. This was presumably the writers' attempt at addressing said criticisms and making Dick's beef with Bruce not entirely unwarranted.
This isn't my favourite interpretation of Batman either, feels like a character assassination. That being said I think they did the best they could with what they had, after season 1 built up Batman to be this psycho monster, season 2 miscast Ian Glenn, and them not having the rights to actually show Batman. (Nor Joker, which is why Jason's death was so quick and they killed him offscreen) They committed to their interpretation, executed it more effectively than I think they have in the past, and then got Bruce off the board as quickly as possible to stop him distracting from the Titans. Very efficient storytelling all in all.
@@Tragedyval that’s what i thought too. He couldnt do when he was robin. Why can he now just becuz he changed suits? And the chemistry thing wouldnt be the answer cuz he had it b4 becoming red hood. He def has someone giving directions & controls.
Got to understand Barbra never got the chance dick got with Bruce in season 2 to be at peace and here his anger is justified he was angry at Bruce taking another mantle of Robin after Jason death instead of taking a step back and deal with his death and dick doesn’t want another kid a Robin to face the same fate as Jason or get anger like dick has. Makes senses he’s at peace with Bruce since he’s trying to help Bruce etc. yet dick doesn’t see that Bruce deals with each death like this it hits him very different than others because to him each death of Gotham how the show has put it each death Bruce:Batman feels it deeply because in his head it’s his job to protect this city and so nobody would die and now he feels alone and it’s all on him and feels like he failed Gotham and Batman that’s why he gives it to dick and tells him to be a better him, that says a lot. This Bruce will probably be redeemed at the end with Tim drake.
I think it could stand without it, if they had some good ideas to focus on with everyone on the team but the bat stuff is a lot easier to write for because it's got a lot of built in drama. I just hope it's not another season of the rest of the team taking a backseat :o
@@Omn1Media I feel ya. I think it has done well up until now in my opinion only. What I'd have a problem with is if they promoted this type of edgy shit and the only edgy shit we got was what was in the promos...but it's not. It's what this show is. It's dark and it's gritty and it's edgy and I appreciate that. I enjoyed season 1 more than 2 but only because they try to add too many characters CW style and I hate that shit. But yeah I feel you... I feel you
It feels too compressed and distorted from the clasic story, for no other reason than to speed up the paceing. So far I have seen all three episodes and I'm not likeing it forcing a long background story's like "A Death in the Family" and "Under the Red Hood" two linked stories that place over a period of a few months, into what looks like only taking place over a few days.
That's been a concern of mine since we had Red Hood confirmed...but I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt now that it's on HBO Max but I'm also not getting my hopes up since I've been let down by this show a lot.
This show has become my guilty pleasure. I don't like it, the pacing is weird, there's too many characters, the action scenes aren't the best, but I can't stop watching. Batman killing Joker and quitting was way funnier to me than it should have been.
The writting on the show.... Jesus Christ But hey, DC fans will love anything you give to them that's cool (In Snyder's voice) Episode 3 was surprisingly refreshing tho. Titans has potential but it's hard to forget season 1 and 2
@@Omn1Media I guess you'll be surprised with the next 2 despite having some terrible logic overall. Like you I thought the fucks were a bit much but that eventually goes away. Keep an eye on Scarecrow's dialogue and Vincent's acting. He's the real MVP.
