The one thing that I find familiar is the fact that people...not from New Orleans...have so much condescension on matters, but negate the kids that are involved. These kids/young adults are putting on a show...giving there all and all adults (supposedly) have to say is negativity? Sit yo grown a$$e$ down. Let these kids live there lives in a positive way. If you are from New Orleans...WHERE IS LAWLESS HIGH SCHOOL??? You know everything...Where Is Lawless??? In the Lower 9 🤨?
Bands need to clean up that sound please! Presentation wasn’t too bad but y’all still need to pick up y’all legs and give more enthusiasm and style! Y’all look lazy! Colors guards are dancing extremely waaaay to much. It’s ok to dance but give us more high stepping and style from the swords and more waving of the flags like soldiers! … Carver sounded decent 👌🏾… still need to fix that matching style a lil bit! Let’s get it together Nola! 💯✊🏾
That’s what I’m talking I’m telling the lil guy in my comments the same. He went off on me saying I said a whole lot of nothing. When I am ex band member. Like how take me saying carver clean it up and move the twirlers to the back and bring the dancers to the front. The dancers actually look damn good like some dolls or stingettes. They take everything personal this way we having the problem now. We excited to see these bands gettkng back and sounding close yo the before Katrina days they even fuller bc o thought this gonna be the end of band as last year bands wasn’t looks to good in size now they looking fuller. But when we was in the band we wanted to show off like my school better than your school we want war with any and everybody but it’s fun school rivalry. The look good Abe smooth as hell at Aug top carver is a beast the just to clean it up and color guards swing them flags and high step more than routines. All these routines look a like twirlers too everybody doing the same things
@@karongordon7193 in New Orleans, twirlers go first. They are majorettes (a part of the drum major's ensemble). It's tradition. We don't do what other cities do. Know your history.
@@imrightyourewrong7441 I’m from New Orleans sweetheart. Marched for St. Aug. for me it may be traditional but traditions are like promises made to be broken. If you lack energy and enthuse why should I put you in the front. I’m going to put who put In the work between the two twirlers and or dancers my cheerleaders would always be I. The front they are the pride but between dancers and twirlers whoever put in the work and has the energy and those dancers are holding that energy. When I first see a band I need to see the cleanses and high energy them girls o. Fire compare to the twirlers and I’m just talking about this particular band you know. They are good but I’ll make some adjustments
They sound horrible. I know the kids worked very hard for this. But everybody is blairing their instruments. So the sound is distorted. Also, you can not hear the melody. They players need to stop and start playing unison in when necessary. But the visual part of these young talented kids show is excellent.
@@edwinbatiste7550 they don’t sound horrible but he does have a point by the sound being distorted a lil. It’s almost like the instruments weren’t tune and no passion being put in the horns or the marching. Don’t seem like the pride is there, like y’all mama making y’all get in the choir or being forced to do it for a grade.
St Aug and Ab sound like old school Aug and Ab ❤️. They also was smooth both bands in every section was clean and everyone was paying attention. Carver sounds nice as well to the sections in the front pay attention make sure everyone is doing the same thing. And one more thing carved Swap majorettes and dance team put dance team in the front this year and the rest of parade season they really something serious they too cold to be in the back I know the twirlers literally brings that 🔥 but they don’t look like they wanna be there but that dance team the dance team is on point and clean as hell . Good job to everyone though just have fun and clean it up show off and pick them Knees up ENERGY YOUR REPPING YOUR SHOOL THE HOOD AND PRIDE
@@CarverMajorettes9 reply to to understand and not rebuttal. I was in the band, this coming from a good place but typical generation will find something negative out of an observation I didn’t say anything negative all I said was make sure that everyone is paying attention. One band one sound. You shouldn’t have to second guess your moves or be on the wrong foot mistakes happen yes but to have mishaps happen every other second ain’t cool. You had all year to polish this up. So if see it what you think other ppl see. The amount of energy they put into making the band should be shown when events like this happen. I’m saying clean it up. carver looks damn good carver just need to clean up a few areas that’s it the band looks good everyone looks good you guys just have to clean up your lines in certain sections and look like youre having fun thats it youngin. This is why y’all out here getting into things y’all have no business doing. Yall think when someone gives y’all feed back it’s bad but the proof is in this video ABE is clean as hell st Aug too. I didn’t call carver trash just said y’all have a few things to clean up. Over all y’all look good And as far as the twirlers they giving lazy and mad, I can’t wait for this to be over. Dance team on some professional dancing doll type shit they are polished like the band. Put them in the front. Smile have fun relax Y’all gotta stop taking everything personal some shit is to be like okay, they see something we not seeing so if it can make us better I need to chat with my squad …. Simple and I wrote another paragraph so you can know this was coming from a genuine place.
@@imrightyourewrong7441 boom they was decent they wasn’t the Aug, KENNEDY, Landry, John Mac or Fortier ect they wasn’t always poo either but I feel like they are back to their 90’s feel when they were in category with those schools but major improvements I liked what I saw from a lot of high school bands. They showed their asses this year it felt like the old band head days I feel like band in New Orleans may not be extinct
