Hey proof, great review! I've been using titanshields for a solid year now and figured I'd add some of my experiences that I think anybody should know before buying that you missed. 1. Darker colors are fully opaque but I highly recommend AVOIDING the black versions as much as possible. I bought 450 of the black sleeves alone and can say with absolute confidence you'd have a higher chance of getting dqd with them than unsleeved cards. They get marked like nothing I've ever seen before, if anything remotely moist touches the back of the sleeve it's permanently marked. If you press down on the sleeve too much in one spot it's ruined. And if you think you can just replace it with the 100 other sleeves you got, think again because 2. Cuts aren't consistent between the three packs of 50 sleeves that come in each package. I've never seen two packs of 50 Titanshield sleeves that were the same length. If one splits and it's not an overdress deck you have to just give up on the other 49. 3. the quality control is awful. I've been through at least 1000 of these and my first set of purples are the greatest sleeves I've ever used and I'm confident they'll never split, every set of black sleeves I've had have been trash and my last set of purples split on the first shuffle and went directly through an origin rare brutal jack in the process. On a good day these sleeves are one of the best purchases you can make but 99% of the time avoid them. Honestly if you want bulk sleeves just go to a website like Potomac distribution and buy dragon shields in bulk
I was just looking at these Titanshield sleeves this morning, and I also wondered about the opacity of the yellow backs. Ultra Pro Pro-Matte Yellow sleeves have the same issue. Thanks! EDIT: I can't find Titanshield black back sleeves on Amazon. Maybe I'll just stay with Ultra Pro?
