@kevinewert8546 The first half was almost like 2 halves but no I mean the majority of points, the tries will all be in the second rather than in the first half meaning how the Boks started the game is how they will end the game this time. Will Argentina be able to pull off 17 minutes of scoring this time round, I don't think so. The Boks left 4 or 5 try scoring opportunities on the field and still could've won with a simple penalty kick, I don't think it'll be that close this time and just in case, they've got Pollard on the bench.

@@groenrizla2513 I doubt that hugely. I thought we didn’t take opportunities in the first half because we were asking Pollard to do stuff he is average at. I thought that we didn’t finish the match because we were asking Manie to do stuff that he is average at. I think that had we had Manie’s instinct, distribution, and in-play kicking in the first half we would’ve turned more half-opportunities into full-blown opportunities. Had we had Polly’s calm thoughtfulness, game management, and titanium balls in the second half, we would’ve closed the game down. I think you use the right tool for the job.

I wholeheartedly endorse this view. Argentina are an excellent side, and have been for years. All that development is really starting to pay off now. I have to disagree with one point you made, though. The Boks did not lose. Argentina _won._ And that's a different thing entirely...

Albornoz had an excellent game, for sure, but overall Libbok is the better player. Apart from the missed pen and one touchfinder that went long, Libbok's performance was pretty fantastic too.

@@interestedbystander196 Libbok is not a bad player, but IMHO Albornoz is better. I think people haven’t seen much of him because he plays rugby for Benetton. Libbok is young, so he can keep improving (for example Contepomi was not the best kicker at the start of his career). However, I feel that Libbok has been hyped a little bit because South Africans are more used to fly halfs that play like Butch James and the like. If I was South African I would put my money on Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu as the guy for the future (I know he is not available for this match). Apart from that, I agree with the combined 15. South Africa has a stronger pack and a better number 9. I hope it is a good match anyways.

@leoacevedo6799 The future of the 10 jersey for the Boks will be Sacha and Manie. Those two both have the special sauce, and with Pollard to mentor them, it's a pretty exciting prospect. SA haven't had a Butch James type flyhalf for about 20 years, though.

@@interestedbystander196 Sorry, I probably should not have said “like Butch James” (still a good player tho), but I don’t consider Pollard, and others before him, a playmaker like Richie Mounga, Finn Russell, Contepomi etc. I think Pollard is the best you currently have and Sacha the future. South Africa the best team in the world at the moment and currently playing the best attacking rugby I have ever seen them play. You should be proud!

@leoacevedo6799 You're right. I think the last real "playmaker" style flyhalf the Boks have had was probably Pat Lambie, whose career was ended with a horrible tackle and concussion injury. Going back before that, the best one was probably Henry Honibal, but that's going back some. Traditional style Bok rugby hasn't been geared to these types of 10s. But that seems to be evolving...

In the Rugby Championship, other than in other tournaments, a bonus point is awarded for 3 more tries than the opponent. Not for 4 tries. Neither does a loosing team get a bonus point for 4 tries.
