I have an SM5 L grind….seems to be knowledgeable, not sure if he’s just gotta put out content to pay the bills or if titleist requires these since they sponsor the show. You could get an SM9 in L grind for a lot less than a wedge works SM10

nope, your right. The T started out as a wedgeworks option for SM8, again for SM9, then became the standard low bounce option for SM10. Now, L grind is the wedgeworks only option. I think they made the right call. L grind was a strange low bounce option - has a lot of forward bounce and very little trail edge relief. Sole is narrow, but it has this strange way of playing super low bounce, right up to the point where you open the face wide and the leading edge comes WAY up. M grind much easier to hit than L, T grind much more versatile than L.
