I am centre-left. I support the centre-left parties. I support moderate politics. It is the far right that hate the working class. The far right see the working class as criminals and parasites. Boris has described the working class as criminal, drunk and hopeless. Boris also allowed a poem in a magazine he ran that called for Scots to be exterminated.

What we are witnessing with the by-election rejection of Boris Johnson and his Tory government is a popular demonstration of regret and contrition from the English electorate for having so enthusiastically supported them in 2019 and having subsequently been taken for complete fools (which they unfortunately were). What runs far deeper than the disapproval felt towards Johnson and his crew is the private shame and self-disgust of the average Tory voter. They knew what Johnson was like all along and they chose to ignore it. The rejection of the Tories is an act of penitence. Is there any more shameful act than voting Tory? The only decent thing about it at least is that it is done in private with one consenting adult only.

This aged like milk on warm day, in all fairness though, I don't think anybody saw that result, the biggest overturn of a majority in UK political history
