Same issue. However, I removed the tuner plastic cover and sprayed the plates with Deoxit-D5 while rotating the tuner serveral times and this fixed the scratchy tuning. The plastic cover just snaps on the tuner.
I’ve got all available Tivoli Model Two in 2007, including the second speaker, CD player and subwoofer. To be honest did not use it at all, but in a year the trimmer capacity starts making scratching noise while tuning. Still keep it and want to repair. Please write the exact type of the capacitor for the order. Thanks in advance!
hi there, thanks your video. my tivoli audio model three met the same problem on this so call tuner, can share the part no. or this varicon spec? thanks in advance
Jans Q loudgroup helsingissä. jotain 35eur maksoi osa. sopii suoraan paikoilleen. muutamalla eurolla saisi vastaavan osan mut sit pitäis sovitella...enemmän
I agree. A piece of junk for sure My lightly used expensive Tivoli with bluetooth died after two years and no parts are available anywhere. The bluetooth never worked at all.
So I was a bit confused in the beginning. Did you say the problem was that the tuning potentiometer was noisy? Or was the problem tuner drifting? It sounded like the problem was tuner drifting? Also, is the remedy the same for both problems? I’m trying to understand if I can simply clean a dirty tuning pot that is being noisy or if I have to replace it?
