Tiznow didn't give up in 2000 and 2001 against two of Europe's greatest horses. That's a true champion. Tiznow, the only two-time Breeder's Cup Classic winner to date. Gotta love him!
Man 'o War male line triumphs again. With, in this case, Fair Play and Hastings attitude! That male line did it again in the Belmont with Da'tara a few years later. Love the Man 'o War family. Standing in front of his statue was one of the thrills of my life. And Tiznow has done great, keeping the line alive!
Chris McCarron was the perfect jockey for this horse. Chris worked on learning what made TizNow tick. I still remember someone interviewing Chris about TizNow winning close races and Chris said he should win close races because he could stick out that head that was the size of a dinosaur. TizNow got to where he didn't want to train. Again, Chris knowing the horse said TizNow was so smart and he didn't want to finish and go back to the barn because TizNow was bored there. God bless jockies like Chris who know the horses they are riding and let's them be who they are. TizNow and Chris were a perfect match as they both were nothing but heart.

Look, Tiznow is one of the badest horses, besides Cigar!! but let me tell you something because I followed him when Mr steve used to beat him and Tiznow used to come in 2nd, but it was because he used to run out of track. I want the owners of Tiznow, that I love their horse because I believed in him!! I bet that no one has ever told them that story!!
