Page 2 of the manual (www.ikea.com/ca/en/manuals/tjugo-battery-charger-with-storage-gray-green__AA-2171335-5-2.pdf) says that 1-8x AA 2450mAh charges in 12 hours, and 1-8x AAA 900mAh charges in 10 hours. I take this to mean that it doesn't matter how many batteries you put in, the charge time will always be the same: you put 8x AA 2450mAh, it'll be 12 hours, and if you put in only 1x AA 2450 mAh, it'll still take 12 hours. The charger has 8 fully individual charge channels. It you mix some AAA's in with you AA's, the AAA's will be done earlier, and simply continue to trickle charge. The back of the charger also states that it charges AA's at +-0.21A, and AAA's at 0.11A, so just take the mAh capacity listed on your batteries and divide that by 210 for AA's, or 110 for AA's, and round up the result. That should give a rough estimate of how long your particular batteries will take to charge.

It continues till all batteries charged then goes to standby. Cheers
