Thanks to the channel owner for another great video. Over the years, there are a few things I’ve noticed some non-TK shippers who ship either Tae or JK with another member have in common. 1) Tae/JK are often the biggest threats to their ships…Tae/JK can be shown being close with other members and most non-TK shippers wouldn’t bat an eyelid…ofc, Jimin is also a big threat for ships involving JK (and we all know the reason why) but by and large for many non-TK shippers, Tae/JK bring out their worst insecurities. 2) They not only prioritize but also love victimizing the other member and have no qualms about throwing Tae/JK under the bus even though they’re a part of their ship…this is especially true in the case of JK…so if TK have a moment for example, the narrative very often is “Poor JM/Jin etc…he deserves better…JK doesn’t love him…JK isn’t worthy of him etc”. 3) They are quick to villainize Tae/JK and accuse them of seeking attention/being a home-wrecker/selfish/untalented/only has looks etc…basically they have no qualms about spewing the most vile insults about Tae/JK just because they think one of them is getting in the way of their ship. 4) They are so threatened by TK being together whether in official content or in their private time that they attribute it to fan service/come up with the most nonsensical theories as justification/do their best to debunk TK interactions etc…basically, anything that helps them stay in denial about the fact that Taekook are close…one of the most ridiculous theories I saw recently was that JK sat on Tae’s lap bcoz he didn’t want to dirty his white pants 😂(even though he was literally sitting on the stage for some time during the ending ment in LV) 5) Ever since solo era started, all these non-TK ships have suddenly become the private couple… now that Tae/JK seem to be primarily spending their time with each other, they ignore the many years and thousands of hours of content highlighting their duo that they received from the company and instead claim “they don’t need to show us EVERYTHING…they’re obviously still spending time together in private”…but the thing is, forget showing everything, Tae/JK haven’t shown ANYTHING…someone please correct me if I’m wrong, but is there any evidence of Tae/JK spending time with another member apart from each other and JHope since solo era started? Obviously, everything I’ve written here doesn’t apply to all non-TK shippers, but some of them do display these behaviours…so the question these ppl really should ask themselves is that if their ship was real, why do they feel so insecure and go to such extremes to invalidate Tae and JK’s bond…and why do they need to contort themselves to come up with explanations for everything that doesn’t match their ship agenda? In the meantime, while they keep living in denial, TaeKook are living their best lives and Tkkers are happy knowing that Tae/JK are enjoying themselves. 💚❤💜

While Jokers are busy calling every convenience store in SK to confirm who was with JK, 🤣Taekookers are happily going about our lives. We're seeing fans going through the stages of grief as they face reality. TK are and have always been close, and those who don't want to believe/accept that they're a couple can no longer deny that they're at least good friends. The other ships involving Tae and JK (Taennies, Jinkookers, Jokers) are slowly in the process of accepting that their beliefs are wrong. I wonder how Jinkookers missed when JK said in March that he doesn't have Jin's #, and Jin said in September that he doesn't have JK's #. And personally, if my partner and I had to enlist in the military, we would simultaneously serve to be released together and move on with our life. It wouldn't make sense to put our personal life on hold for several years while we each complete service in our timeframes, especially if we're serious about each other. That should be another clue (aside from the complete lack of romantic chemistry) that Jinkook is just a friendship. Just like how Jokers convinced themselves that Jikook are becoming a more private couple when the truth is that there's no more company content for them to rely on as proof of their ship. And most fans need to grow up and accept that these are grown men who owe them nothing and deserve to live their lives the way they want. Nothing tragic happened to Jin for the members to give up enjoying their lives. Their time before enlistment is limited, so they're doing the things they want to do before then.

I still find it hard to believe that the Jinkook ship exists in a romantic way... when I see them I can only appreciate a playful and very noisy sibling relationship 😂😂. And I love watching them joke around and play like they're the same age... that's the wonderful thing about Jin, how kind and sweet he is as he puts all his shyness aside and adds to the maknae's jokes. And with regard to Jimin, although there are toxic people who speak bad of him because he's part of another ship, he doesn't deserve to receive hate for this. I admit that when I first met the group I didn't like them very much, their clingy and flirtatious nature annoyed me. But over time I realized that this is only a part of who he is as a person and many times I think that he is more of a character that was created to deal with so much pressure. We have seen how he reacts if V or anyone rushes him a bit, he withdraws and makes him shy. I think Jimin is a great friend of Taekook and although we don't see them share so many outings, I honestly believe that they're always there for the moments that really matter. It bothers me that they compare them saying that this or that is more or less talented or successful... they are different, with unique qualities and a talent that has made them get to where they are. No one gave Tae anything for being cute or handsome ... that's underestimating all the talent he has. I hope one day they understand that they're people and not FF characters and treat them with respect!!!

Something similar happened to me with Jm, but I see that he is a character for the cameras... it is true that he is very tactile and shows his affection that way and that confuses or annoys many, however I see that he respects Tae and backs off with just one look from him. Hate comments are incomprehensible and unacceptable, against any of the members... they are all 7 so different and talented, that making comparisons is absurd. What I don’t understand is why individuals are so invested in these young men’s relationships! If individuals want to believe in a certain ship, then do so without hating on other members just because they hang out together. All the accusations made towards Tae regarding needing the publicity/ manipulating situations for his own needs/ attention seeking are BS. Have they forgotten Tae was voted Idol of Idols- others literally study him and want to be him. They just can’t stand his success and let’s be honest he hasn’t even started yet!!! The very fact that JK gets hauled into every ship dynamic going is so demeaning for him. His talent is so great that people just want to use his name for clout and it’s so frustrating. He is a sweet, endearing person who is trying so hard to be himself but some don’t want to SEE HIM. He has tried to show us and used his IG account for this purpose but I’m not at all surprised that it now just shows work. We don’t deserve him and until he starts to be respected as such I’m sure he won’t post such personal information. Over the last few years the Jikook FS has been toned down and you could see it was getting uncomfortable for both JK and Tae to endure. I believe this was after Taekook’s relationship was solidified and they all felt it was no longer appropriate. The Jikook shippers know it’s not 2017 anymore and can’t accept that Taekook spend time together. The world of their fantasy has huge cracks in it but they are simply refusing to believe the truth no matter what comes to light. I’m thrilled that Taekook are having time out for fun and that they can finally be who they want to be. They’ve missed out on so much of their youth and thoroughly deserve this precious time.
You have concisely yet so accurately described Tae and Jk.. I saw how they exploited the image of JK sad about JIn's departure... they repeated tirelessly: "jk was silent because he would collapse if he spoke"... as if he were the only one who felt it, but even worse, as if he were a child who is not capable of fending for himself. What is that? They keep calling him a baby and they don't realize that Jk has grown up and is already a splendid man. Jk has been silent and absent for a long time and I think it's better that way, because everything he does or says ends up being linked to a ship or criticized for whatever.

Completely agree with both your and @Andrea’s thoughts about JK’s social media presence nowadays…I also feel like even though Tae shares more than JK on IG, he’s also become more silent nowadays on SM…he rarely comments on weverse anymore for example and even his IG is a little more work-focused than it used to be…I could be wrong but I think this shift happened sometime around when the Tae/nie rumours started in earnest…for a while there every single one of his public appearances/SM posts became fodder for Tae/nie shippers and massive shipwars…he was pretty silent for some time then and even though he’s more active now, it’s not the way it used to be imo…completely understandable considering everything he’s been through these past few months…the fact that he even shares as much as he still does is such a testament to the kind of person he is. You mentioned Tae’s tattoo in another comment earlier and that coupled with some of Andrea’s remarks reminded me of the double standards/lack of understanding of Tae/JK’s characters some in this fandom display towards them…we still don’t know where Yoongi got his tattoo but only Tae is disloyal/hates his members blah blah, other members travelled on work this past month too but Tae is the one selfishly off having fun instead of spending time with Jin, all the members are adults but how dare Tae be out there living his adult life, all the members will enlist sometime/say their goodbyes but JK is the one who will have to say goodbye to everyone and “oh no, they raised him and how will the baby survive” (this one isn’t meant maliciously, but it’s still a little frustrating)…and we all know that some of the things that JK has received a lot of hate for aren’t unique just to him in BTS (associating with artists who aren’t models of perfection for ex)…and yet, ppl go “I’m so disappointed in JK…Namjoon come and control your boy” etc…there are a lot more examples of course and not all of these are meant to be malicious but it’s still annoying bcoz it displays a lack of understanding of who Tae/JK are as individuals (Tae/JK wouldn’t want to do/achieve XYZ without BTS for ex)…I try to be wary of unnecessarily victimizing Tae/JK but it really does sometimes feel like many in this fandom still don’t see them outside of the BTS lens (esp compared to the hyung line)…and imo, even outside of shipwars/akgaes etc, Tae and JK receive more than their fair share of hate…not that I want any of the members to get hate, but you know what I mean. I’m so sorry…this entire last part was a little disjointed and rambling (I was trying to avoid specifics in some cases) but I’d be interested in your thoughts if you don’t mind because I’m wary of SM echo chambers skewing my perspective on this.

Anyone with a family member who is 25 knows they are adults and have relationships, have their own home, go out, drink, make mistakes. These fans want to coddle them and wrap them in tissue paper in fact anything to avoid them living real lives. It made me laugh on JHopes recent BB at the museum when he pointed to JK’s picture and said he didn’t listen - perfect example of JK doing JK things 🤣. I see some awful things on SM where fans are trying desperately to get JK/Tae to fit a mould of their making it’s so revealing of the fan’s immaturity. И если с последним явно видно чисто дружеские отношения, то Чимин явно стремиться сам дать повод для слухов. Насколько хватит выдержки у Тэхёна не известно, он заметно начинает нервничать из-за сложившейся обстановки с хейтом и Гуком. Чонгука ничем не прошибёшь, он наслаждается жизнью рядом с Тэхёном. Верю в них. Но боюсь, что метод кнута и пряника , которым он раньше пользовался для удержания Ви, не сработает; Тэхён дорожит своим чувством и именем.
Полностью согласна с Валентиной. Дошли до того что устроили свадьбу фанерных Чонгука и Чимина. Видела несахарный характер Тэ, неуверенность Нама, взрывной характер Шуги и Хосока, срывы Джина, самоуверенность Гука, трезвый разум для себя Чи и так далее. Вся группа работяги и очень зависят от требований компании. Это естественно. На сцене слаженность и отработка сценария по полной программе. Но закулисье, РАНы, БВ, различные шоу совсем другое дело. Немного видна изнанка отношений. Шугой восхищаюсь, сложный человек и прекрасный музыкант. С 2015 года и до сих пор моим человеком стал Тэхён не только из-за внешности, а по содержанию. Ребята все внешне красивы и талантливы С кем будет счастлив в личной жизни, какова будет его дальнейшая жизнь не знаю, но от всей души желаю ему везения и благополучия. Вы правы: поживём - увидим.

That's the difference between Taekook supporters and other ships, most of us DO support all the members as a unit AND their solo projects. We love ALL of them and can see how much they ALL love and care for each other. It's called respect. We do however see that there is something extra between Jk & V.
