im 36 years old right now, im going back to this channel after 10 years to reminisce this very good fight of this era... sad, but thats life, like the flash time moves so fast. good job and congrats Donaire also thanks mr. Vic for the wonderful fight it was already written to the book of boxing history.
"Im gonna knock him out" you ate your own words... Victory is not always yours Vic. Ypu didn't take care with your words until your eyes crossed with donaire's power punch🤣
Darchinyan has the wrong stance posture. He rolls his shoulders forward with his head crouched low. So when he commits to throwing a haymaker left he is wide open to take a solid right hand. That's the punch that got him in both fights.
Vic caught him with some shots, the robust size advantage and reach tough on him but what a scrapper. One of my favorites to watch of the era.Figured reason he avoided jab with Donaire. Now It is Donaire vs Inoue..Would of liked prime Vic in there somewhere. Donaire still in the mix almost a decade later...
This is the best example where one can see the Filipino saying: Walang kadaladala(Never learned a lesson) I must say Darchynia NEVER LEARNED THE LESSON
Boxers are great fighters but there should be only winner.Thank God for keeping our fighters safe and be home alive and in good shape after a heavy fight..🙏🌈🇵🇭💋💃👍🌄🌅
Vic is winning this fight until nonito gave him a blast from the past.. That counter left hook. Vic kisses the canvas again.. The raging bully being bullied again.. 😂😂😂
Darchinyan relied on his unorthodox style with a wide stance to befuddle orthodox and southpaw fighters who would usually crumble after getting hit by his left hand, but at 118 Donaire has never been stopped and only lost a deicision once to Rigondeaux. If you want to legitimately beat Donaire at 118, you have to do it by points ala Rigo or wait for him to turn 37 years old and fight him as a 26 year old ala Inoue otherwise you are not going to beat him at this weight class.
He telegraphs his every punch like it's coming from a mile away lmao. Nonito will have time to eat lunch+dinner and brush his teeth before Vic's punch ever connects.
@@bard1847 Thats true but it's easy to say that as a spectator. Before Donaire blasted him to retirement, Darchinyan was the top dog of the 118 division and was going through everybody in the division. He was a phenomenal fighter. just that Donaire is that dude. Too bad Pacquiao overshadowed him throughout much of his carreer but Donaire is no slouch. at 118 his left hook is otherwordly and even still at 37 years old he just shattered the orbital bone of a 26 year old unbeaten, top p4p fighter in Inoue, had that fight been 2010 fighter of the Year Donaire, No way Inoue would have gotten out of round 2.
Vic really thought donaire owes him for his success. Hes not completely wrong though, donaire became well known for knocking him out in the most brutal way. It was hilarious.
The problem with Darchinyan is, he likes to prejudge his opponent as if he really know exactly what the outcome of his fight. Why dont you just zip your mouth up and make it happen what's in your subconcious mind.
Every time I see this fight...I feel hungry...Darchinyan fight like a crab...move like a crab...get knock out like a crab...what a crab....he kiss the canvas for the second time.
Wow that was a great fight Darchynian held his own up until that final round but Donaire showed why he’s one of the greatest pound 4 pound fighters of all time
The fight always settles the pre fight comments about who is going to do what to whom. In this case Nonito ‘s left hook did to Vic the same thing it did in the first fight. No disrespect, to Vic, he always came to fight and win, but his style let him get hit. Donaire is a much better boxer, with a high ring IQ, and one punch KO power. Great fight by both and a credit to the sport of boxing.
Darchinyan improved here compared from their first fight where he fought like an amatuer. It would be better if Darchinyan captilized in counter- punching than attacking Champ Donaire!
Darchinyan was an arrogant boxer who's fallen into disrepute. He left boxing in total disgrace. Donaire is a great boxer and a real gentleman in the ring.
"I will retire him!" - Vic Darchinyan Another left hook he's down again and a barage of heavy blows with an uppercut that made ref stop the fight. Vic Darchinyan retired. End 😊😅
@@dusk1673 umm… no. Darchinyan got rocked in this fight just as he did in the first, only he did better in this fight. Vic Darchinyan was a big puncher and an OK fighter overall with poor defense. Meanwhile Donaire is still knocking people out-great fighter.
@@kineahora8736 darchinyan was old in this fight like 36-38years old and even though I do agree donaire is a much more legendary fighter I think darchinyan is better then most fighters today considering he is a natural super flyweight and donaire is a natural super bantamweight
Bro Vic made a really good adjustment in the rematch. I actually thought he was winning the later rounds before the knockout. Nonito is such an emotional fighter, Vic was a greater boxer this night but as the commentators said, Nonito become more of a puncher, and that punch absolutely hit the target.
What fight did you just watch bro? Can you see vic's style? Obviously, he didn't showed up. I mean he had some moments but clearly he is not the greater boxer
Do you think he was angry because after the first fight he left the ring on a stretcher? That is so funny! On a stretcher! Come on, laugh with me - hahahahahahaha!!! A stretcher!!
@Odoreater for a start im pointing out darychiniyans arrogance in not changing his strategy and also its a compliment to donaire . P.S i used to box so im not a troll.
Darchinyan lost both fights with Donaire, and both are tko. That's something that's hard to accept. Would it be good to start a 3rd match for both fighters?
Hard to accept? He got bombed in the first fight, eyes glassy as he stumbled back into the ropes after barely getting up. 2nd fight took a number of mortar shell left hooks and then defenseless vs an onslaught of punches. In short, he got shellacked by Donaire.
I never understood the pathetic hate for Darchinyan. He was a fighter in the very light weight classes from a nation that isn't a big boxing nation. Regardless of his ability, the only way that he was going to get widespread attention outside the boxing obsessives is to be a villain, like Prince Naz had to be before him. It's not as if he was a bad person outside the ring. If he was, I could understand.
