What a pleasure and honor to talk to Impact, in any international tournament. We'll continue our Worlds 2024 coverage -- Please keep watching us, we'll work harder 🙇♀🙇♀
Maybe it is because of the time he spent in NA, he's so outspoken. Compared to other Koreans you have interviewed that seem abit more awkward, Impact gives a lot more eye contact and elaborates a lot more. Also, he asks questions back, making this abit more of a conversation. I love the confidence he has to keep talking
Impact talking about how he'll be remembered is easy. Just like Doublelift and Bjergsen, Impact joins them as being the undisputed best player in their respective positions per NA. Keeping it strictly NA he's top 3 sure but I'd argue he's #1.
It's been a pleasure watching Impact play over the years. As a TL fan for over a decade, I hope that Impact calls TL home until he decides to hang up the mouse and keyboard.
I just now realized how prettily petite Ashley is even beside Impact 😍😍😍 I just thought Razork, Chovy and Supa were just really tall. Loving all of your interviews and content Ashley, thank you as always,🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
I literally stood up unknowingly like I was about to give a standing ovation after hearing Impact talk about his “passion”, whether he really is passionate or not. What an incredible mindset.
Impact interviews with ashley kang will always be my fave interviews. There's just a natural feeling their interviews that I don't get from other ones. Hopefully we get another one if TL do well at worlds.
@@lazerfruit2121 that was literally the interviewer's question that impact was answering lol, that korean pros always talk about the game in terms of turns, what does impact think about it?
Why would he retire? He's making a truckload of money by playing video games while being one of the best (if not the best) player in a region really shallow in talent, but pays very well. This guy is living the dream.
I don't speak any Korean at all, but there are just so many nuanced bits of information coming through from his tenure as a pro. The way he thinks about the game is more like a Coach, I think - and it shows. He's so fluid and casual during interviews, there's no jitters or nerves on display. He processes, he articulates, and he speaks confidently and calmly. I actually wonder how much of this insight was his own over the years and how much of it was informed by being a world champion in his debut year back in 2013? How much of it was kkOma? And as for legacy, I think for me some great legacies are soured by personal investments or narratives. Faker's legacy speaks for itself but I've been sick of him since the end of 2015 worlds. He broke my heart in 2016 semis and I've never forgiven him ^^ - But Impact? The longevity he's had and the perspective he has makes his career almost serene to view, even if he doesn't have the highs as some of his SKT T1 K graduates. It'll be very, very difficult to forget Impact and his (pun intended) impact on the scene. Excellent interview, Ashley!
@@wodgiver Why would I care about G2? Muricans really think that only EU fanboys make fun of their region when the are the main circus attraction for everyone.
