Ridgeway is the longest bike route in Vancouver, and also one of the most confusing. It mainly overlaps existing east-west bike routes, and periodically transitions between them via north-south streets - or in some cases, hard-to-follow diagonal/zig-zag routes. There's also an alternative way to get from Yew St/37th Ave to Balaclava St/22nd Ave, which is confusing if you don't know that the route splits.
It's mostly quiet residential roads, though the initial part on 45th can get quite busy, and some brief sections near 29th are on busy roads.
Continue to UBC via Chancellor Blvd (straight) or University Blvd (left onto Blanca St then right).
