What do you mean get the scene right? Isn’t the Netflix release the same as the show’s always been? It’s not like they’re doing a full redub like with evangelion.

@@CaptainKotetsu Netflix announced that they were making a live-action remake for ATLA as a show instead of a movie like Shyamalan did. Everyone thought it was a bad idea until they said the two original creators of ATLA would be in charge of the project. I think they also got the guy who did the music for the show as well. But recently the creators announced they were leaving the project because Netflix wouldn't give them the creative control they promised. Recently there have been several unconfirmed rumors of the show being made more like a teen drama or like a CW show. It seems more like an exec run show instead of a creator's passion project like ATLA when it was animated. The details are very scarce and pretty much nothing is verified but there are a LOT of rumors about them changing the lore and basic structure of the show's story and characters. Which would make it understandable why the creators went so far as to explicitly state that whatever will be released is in no way connected to them or a product of their work. It's not looking good. As bad as the Shyamalan movie was and it's cemented status as one of the worse film adaptions in history next to the Dragon Ball Evolution movie, if even a fraction of the eye-catching clickbaity rumors are true it looks like this Netflix adaption could possibly be even worse. It's not looking pretty.
