Left Eye knew she wanted her life story to be told and she got her wish granted with "CrazySexyCool - The TLC Story". Lil Mama's performance in that film was so real that I feel that Lisa's spirit was in her and her presence was felt all over that film.
I agree. I think the sad part is she told the story of what exactly happened between her & Andre the night of the fire in the doc "Last Days Of Lefteye" but in the csc movie, they didn't tell it correctly. I guess they did that out of respect for Andre & to avoid too many law suits but still sad she never got to tell it the way she REALLY wanted to.
There aren't any groups now, period. The 90s had such a wide variety of artists and groups: En Vogue, TLC, Jade, SWV, H-Town, Jodeci, Shai, Hi-5, Silk, Brownstone, 702, Boyz II Men, Dru Hill, Salt N Pepa, Wu Tang, Bone Thugz N Harmony, Kris Kross, Kut Klose, Jagged Edge, 112, Xscape, Changing Faces, Mint Condition, Black Street, Soul for Real, BBD, etc. I could keep going. I can't think of a single group out now. I'm glad I grew up in the 90s when R&B and hip hop was at it's peak.

dang, if musicians now days actually took the time to sit down like tlc did and actually think about the things that they were putting out and about the messages they wanted to portray in their music, how good would music STILL be?? i mean think about it they took time out to even come up with the name of their album let alone the messages they wanted their fans/everyone to hear and listen to. i fell like now days no one is doing that, no one is really trying to put out positive messages.

Damn, this video is almost 20 yrs old. It, doesn't seem like it. But, tlc will always be my favorite girl group. I loved their chemistry together. Their music was the shit. I, still bump their music from time to time...im A fan forever.
