I keep seeing so many people saying it's not the same without Lisa... I do understand, but come on y'all, while it is unfortunate that Lisa has passed, at least give T-Boz and Chilli the props they deserve for coming together and giving us fans what we've been wanting for so many years now. True, TLC will never be the same without the "L", but Left Eye's death is something that was totally out of anyone's control. I respect them for ultimately never replacing her and continuing on as a duo. They could've easily called it quits a long time ago, after Lisa's death and T-Boz's ongoing battle with sickle cell, but yet here they are in 2017 going hard for the fans and so many people are being so damn critical. They get nothing but much love from me!
This song was so slept on. I heard it didn’t even chart smh. This gave smiles to alot of TLC fans to see them together after all this time and still got it!
It was a hit on the radio format it was sent to, which is Urban AC (Adult R/B). It peaked at #8 on Billboard’s Adult R/B chart and #38 on Billboard’s r/b and hip hop songs chart.
@@Danny-ld1dt it won't happened because now our generation of that tym when we rock there jams in the 90s is gone now there's a lot of younger generation so that's what they publish and marketing for new generation song it's all like that even our parents used to complain about rap and jams coz it was our time 🤣
Jeremy Collins They actually releaaed another song about a week ago. I don't know if they released any songs before that, but I suspect they're going to be dropping an album.
I must agree. This Is why I loved SWV's I missed us album more than their last album. Their last album sounded like it was trying too hard to fit in with todays r&b/hip hop..
I remember when this joint first dropped 🔥🔥 It didn't get much Airplay in which was a damn shame!!! Still showing love in 2022 for the ladies did their Thang!! 👏🏽
Wendy Williams saying nobody wanted them to make new music and only wanted there old hits. Just another reason why Wendy doesn't know wat she's talking about.
I still miss LEFT EYE!my favorite female rapper of all time!whether she did solo albums or was with TLC!i still like TLC...amazingly they still sound good.T-BOZ & Chilly.
T-Boz in my opinion is one of the most admirable singers, songwriters and just all around human -beings . Her strength and tenacity through all her surgeries and medical procedures, enduring spousal abuse, AND BEING TAKING ADVANTAGE OF IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY 😒 Y'ALL GOTTA GIVE IT UP✊
Damion Jones if u did notice, which u may have hun, he did her justice his rap sounded like she would have spit it.. 😍 but i know the feeling, i miss her too
I also think a lighter voice to counter their raspy voices and balance the song would've been good like Kehlani, and a rap verse from Remy Ma would've been good.
Check this out. I got a chance to meet them in person last year, and let me say that they both look like they haven't aged at all. T-Boz is really cool as fuck, and Chili is so sweet. Watching them live neither one missed a beat dancing. It was amazing.
Man I graduated in the late 00s and TLC was my jam when my mom would play them in the car. I was feelin' it just as hard...just hadn't hit puberty yet lol
They kept their unique style instead of trying to be like other new groups out there. TLC doesn't chase waterfalls, they stick to their own roots and continue to succeed.
@@YABOIANT86 yeah a lot of tlc fans were from Gen-X & older millennials who outgrew them and moved on to new artists of the millennium. I hate that they’re so fake. This album only sold 11,000 copies that’s the lowest TLC ever had. This is why the group SWV said they would never make music again because these fans are fake and when it comes times to support they never been buy the albums of older artists. It’s just they’re minds are wrapped in some weird stupid nostalgia, which is why nostalgia is toxic and detrimental to society. It stops the evolution and it stops the growth of human beings. I never want a album from TLC again at all. I can enjoy their older classics from previous years and if they come to a local city in my area I’ll be down to support them via seeing them live. They don’t need to release albums no more, they’re accomplished and legends that’s all. The music world turned on them and a lot of their fans abandoned them big time. We miss Lisa but still Chilli & TBoz are talented and beautiful as well. They shouldn’t be left out, most of these people wouldn’t have not even purchased Lefteye album if she released it. I feel alot of people wanted them to fall down from their glory, and when they did people distanced themselves from them or overshadow TBoz and Chilli; no respect Lisa but respect TBoz & chilli to. I wish them the best frfr and keep getting to the bag touring and living their lives.
I miss you, Lisa Left Eye Lopes without you, your girls T-Boz and Chilli's lives are incomplete they would never be the same they can't go on without ya
yea it really hurts... all these people we will never hear or see their creativity again... leaves blank spots... but T & C really stayed on track hardcore and still got the formula.
I actually love it! I sure do miss LeftEye but she would be proud of theses ladies! They look good and sound good, great summer jam song to jam too😊😍😍👍💞
Wow this song is amazing...the music they make still puts you in the feels...this was so beautiful to watch...I had to listen to their final album and just enjoy 🎶🎵🎼 RIP left eye
This is such a cliche comment.. Fact is, music back then was great, and music today is great as well. You just aren't looking hard enough. Tink, Kehlani, SZA, H.E.R, Jorja Smith, all current artists that are making great music inspired by the 90s.
sam jenkins you either need attention or just argumentive, I can just tell. You misread and misunderstood. I never said anything about music its not what I was reference to.
show had been 25 years and I remember like it was yesterday when TLC came out and I used to be obessed with them especially Left eye, and she was the prettiest one and so was T-boz.
Mt. Theodore Alan it's so hard to believe that it's been 20 years. I listen to red light special and creep and think damn this feels like just yesterday.
CalexanderJ You said it right there. Chilli looks like she can be 26 years old. Black don't crack. T-Boz still looks sexxxy. I don't care. She can gain 100 pounds I still love her. R.I.P. to Left Eye.
I love that it has that classic TLC flavor. Bangin' beat, smooth choreography, infectious lyrics & T-Boz's trademark raspy vocals make this an automatic on fleek joint. "But you still my BITCH can't tell me nothin'" is still my favorite line two years later after hearing this hot ass jam. Love me some TLC hope they continue to drop more heat like this in the near future.
Why only 4 million views?????!!!! Like srsly people have lost so much taste in music instead of appreciating real music like this,we need more of this music, exspecially 90s rnb instead of all these dumb songs about sex,money,e.t.c...
ShadyMoore RIGHT??? Not to mention how these trashy songs and artists out today try so HARD to imitate 90s style but they can't appreciate the real thing like this right here!
ShadyMoore they listen to microwave trash like bieber and Selena etc. We need the legendary Timbaland back to make some bangers. He's back shortly I heard.
This song is so age appropriate. And its still has that strong TLC vibe like it came out in the 90s. Only thing missing is a bomb rap verse from LeftEye!!!
Saeeda Sankar I hope so too, even if the their music ain't as great as it use to be. this is tlc I just want them to be great and hope they be just that.
Good song and video. Love TLC. They still remain true to their sound which I appreciate. They were one of my music idols growing up. We miss you Left Eye!
