Tlingit Elder Cyril George, Sr., on Angoon Bombardment 

Native American Heritage Month Lecture Series: “The Bombardment of Angoon by the US Navy in 1882” by Cyril George, Sr., Leader of the Deisheetaan Clan of Angoon. This lecture was given in 2010 and is being posted on the anniversary of the bombardment. Cyril George was a beloved elder; he walked into the forest in April 2014.
