Malefor is my favorite character in the entire Spyro franchise, he's just so intimidating, I love his voice, appearance and personality. I hate Skylanders for dumbing him down so much, they can't even pronounce him damn name right in Skylanders Academy, it's an insult to the original imo. Malefor doesn't eat tacos, Malefor consumes the souls of the damned.
omg yes, i 100% agree. i know it's 'bad' for a villain to be your favourite character, but Malefor has always been mine. genuinely the darkest and most evil villain out of all Spyro games, i could honestly write a whole essay about him; what they did to him in Skylanders just makes me cringe. imo they made him look stupid and like your typical "funny" villain, when he's really nothing like that in the tlos series - he's fricking badass in tlos. Skylanders annoys me so much lmao

Nick Williamson Yeah Malefor is the best Spyro Villain ever and he should return because even the dark purple Crystal can't stop him from coming back to the Dragon Realms. After all no villain stays defeated or gone for good they always find a way to return by escaping their imprisonment on their own.

For real this game was garbage and the story was executed like shite. Not to mention it was hideous and generic. Only thing good about it was the free flight and even then it was slow and clanky
Ah, you must mean Kevin Michael Richardson. He's voiced several characters throughout the cartoon channels, such as Gantu in Lilo and Stitch, and a few side characters in The Last Airbender. His tone is very unique, and pleasant to recognize.

Instead of just making Cynder have a dark texture, i would have made it so Malefor turned her back into how she looked in the first game when she was under his power. Make it a nice call back to the first game.
To answer your question, yes there is a good reason for those words to have worked. The short version is that Cynder loves Spyro so when he says the words "you've left me nothing to fight for" Cynder realizes that Spyros basically said I love you and you were the reason I kept on fighting, but now there is nothing. Cynder loves Spyro, so for her to hear those words caused her to fight harder to break free of Malefore`s dark magic by using her love for Spyro. Think upon her words after she is free, "There`s always something." If you want a more detailed explanation, just let me know.
