This stuff blows my mind. Thank you for continuing to push the envelope of quality sounds. For our enjoyment and God's glory! Excited to try this at church.
I've just downloaded the demo pack and with the simple Martin D35 piezo1 IR loaded on my Iridium is just beautifull! Night and day difference. Thank you!
How appropriate WT, playing a lot of acoustic lately and using my Helix as a pre-amp. Thanks for all your hard work, it saves me a bunch of time tweeking!
Just bought this pack today. I have not expensive Takamine(around 350€) Some Ir sounds realy great with this guitar, I play thrue Fractal Audio Ax8! Thanks WT! Good job!👍👍👍
I picked these up and they sound fantastic with my Taylor 416 directly into my Focusrite 6i6. A little leveling with Waves CLA-3A and some reverb from Fabfilter Pro-R and it's gorgeous. I'm hosting the IRs in the Two Notes Wall of Sound plugin. The EXP profiles definitely sound by far the best with my Taylor. I especially like pairing up different mics and running them hard left and right. Just wonderful. Way beyond expectations. You just made recording acoustic guitar go from a chore to a really simple task. Enough cannot be said about the benefit of being able to record a bit, then come back to it later in the day or even days later. Try that with mics. Good luck getting your mic placement and sitting position exactly the same as you had it. Do any of your other Acoustic IRs have the EXP option? I'm not seeing it listed in your other ones. If they did, I'd definitely pick up some more. Very interested in your Martin and Gibson stuff. But for now, these Taylor 816 IRs with my real-life Taylor 416 are absolute perfection. Sounds just like my guitar. It's some kind of wizardry for sure.
I have a 2004 Taylor 310ce equipped with the original Expression System. I have never been able to reproduce the natural sound of the guitar in a "plugged-in" scenario. I've always contemplated upgrading the pickup system or purchasing a newer Taylor with the latest ES. I purchased this IR pack along with the Acoustic patch for my PodGo and must say this is the best my acoustic has ever sounded plugged in! I am thoroughly enjoying playing my acoustic through this setup. Nice job Brian!
Ok so my sound guy wants my acoustic to sound a little dark and not too bright but I do wanna use an IR with my Pod Go What IR do you recommend? I currently play a Yamaha Fgx800c
I use a Fractal AX8 amp modeler + Multi FX. Do you know if I can apply this IR to Fractal AX8 and use it to plug 6 strings and 12 strings acoustics of mine on my Fractal AX8? I got a Giannini Folk 1977 and a Cort Earth 12 strings.
How does this compare to using a TC Electronic BodyRez pedal? Any chance you could do a video comparison? To my ears the IR when engaged sounds as if the EQ curve is being adjusted for more treble and more bass, and maybe scooping out the mids. Couldn't this be done at the front of house digital console with an EQ plugin of some type?
Great job, really enjoyed this. Picked it up immediately as I just got my hands on a Kemper. Quick question, on the Kemper, which profile would you use to apply one of these presets? I was able to copy the IRs over into the presets section in Rig Manager, but not sure which profile I should be using these presets with. I'm new to Kemper sorry, but thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Great video as always, really enjoyed this!
Hey Brian, am a big fan, and am curious what DI box you use to capture your vocal and accoustic guitar into your pc please? Am looking for something which i can use live for my cell group over zoom
awesome! really looking forward to try this with my taylor GS mini with the added ES-go pick-up. I felt the pick-up fell short for recordings, hoping this will improve it as much as You've demo'd in this video. Thanks, tim
Just purchased this IR pack, and as always, quality stuff from WT. Can you do a demo on how to incorporate this IR into the SingerSongwriter patch as well as other acoustic path made by WT? I've purchase all acoustic patches from you and an instruction would be appreciate it, tks! Also, when using this IR and other WT acoustic patch, what do I tell the PA sound guys? Do I tell them to make me neutral at FOH? Your recommendations? Thank you!
Spoiled by your D35 IR with a Larrivee OM-40 with Anthem through a Helix. Was about to list my 816ce cause it sounds terrible comparatively. But when I saw you were making IR's for the 816ce, I knew I had to wait! Looking forward to trying these out.
I have the GFI System Cabzeus direct box and speaker simulator of which I can input IR's... are these IRs something that could be loaded into the Cabzeus? Nice to know about the $100 Mooer Radar as I can't possibly afford any of the Line 6 Helix gear. Plus to me the Helix products are way over-engineered and demand hours and hours of butt time with the manual.
@@worshiptutorials I have a Martin D-10E and it has a fishman system in it but I was wondering if I should just pull the trigger and get an anthem in it.
Just picked up a GS-Mini with the Taylor Expression System and the guitar feels great but the plugged in sound is, well... underwhelming at best. Hot garbage at worst. But with these IRs this guitar now sounds incredible plugged in. Brian you are doing the work of the Lord. Thank you so much for these!
Awesome! Thank you! I’m still new to the Line 6 and POD Go stuff, so I’m still getting the hang of it. I appreciate all the help and the awesome sounds!
These sound incredible, I may add them to my hx stomp. But what pics are you using for acoustic? I am on a search for new strumming pic for my acoustic. Anyone else have suggestions? Thanks.
Hi brothers ... Thank you for ur ministry .. God bless ur team .. can u please let me know It’s available in India or delivered in India .. what is cost of guitar .. ... please let me know I m interesting to buy..🥰🙏
bought it i can not get it to sound right i even use it with their acoustic patch, not saying the have bad products, just saying it is not working for me
Going back and forth, I do find the pickups often sound darker than the mic'ed (and live) sound especially when you think of the natural bright sound of a pick against the strings.
I think Takamines are really bad guitars. Intonation is usually crappy and they sound boring. I haven't heard a good one yet. Maybe they exist. Taylors on the other hand are good sounding and playing guitars that seem very consistent. I'm happy I bought one and I didn't even break the bank. I've had Yamaha's (intonation issues) Ovations(nice plugged in, not so great unplugged and the nut cut too high and the round back made it uncomfortable to play).
Can I buy one of your acoustic guitar that you rarely use really need an acoustic guitar and electric guitat for our worship team fans from philippines here Godbless to you
Here in Brazil it is very difficult to acquire a Taylor guitar, The price here is very high. Being a musician in Brazil is difficult. Em Donate me a Taylor guitar please.
Wow, thought I might sneak out and buy an Earthworks 215... YIKES... that one mic is $620... ouch. Why is it Contemporary Christian Music has become so tech-no driven and seemingly only accessible to the ultra-rich ??? Like... "buy my $15 IR pack for your $1700 Helix"... I think its gotten out of hand and caters to rich churches with tons of incoming tithe money that can afford this kind of stuff. I'm so glad my Jesus doesn't require that I first be a millionaire before serving him with all my heart. -- Riches and churches just don't mix well. How many more people that can't afford this super expensive gear could be used and how much farther could we carry the Gospel if there wasn't such a push to be millionaires before servants?
Well first of all, you don’t need to buy this $15 IR pack at all. Just play your guitar like you always have. You also don’t need a Helix to use them - you can load them in a Mooer Radar (which I talk about in the video), and those are $100. The Slate ML-2 is one of my favorite instrument mics and it’s $150. I’ve used it in videos a lot before. Finally, I’m not sure how this $15 IR pack that can make your guitar sound better with equipment that many churches or guitar players already have means that we are mixing ‘God with riches’ 🤷🏻♂️. I realize that I use a lot of gear in these videos that isn’t cheap, but Worship Tutorials is not a church, and we are not suggesting that churches - especially those on smaller budgets - need to use expensive gear at all. In fact, we intentionally try to keep the products we offer at prices where anyone can afford them.
Finally, in your last sentence you wrote this, “How many more people that can't afford this super expensive gear could be used and how much farther could we carry the Gospel if there wasn't such a push to be millionaires before servants?” This seems to suggest that the Gospel would be better off - or at least those called to carry it - without people like us who you claim to push people to be ‘millionaires before servants’. I find this extremely offensive. The majority of the over 1200 videos that I have created and uploaded to this channel here are 100% free resources designed to equip worship leaders and church musicians. I’ve given literally years of my life to this channel - and given it away for free. I don’t typically respond to comments like yours - I find it pointless. But I did feel the need in this case to communicate how it came across.
Fortunately, God asks us to bring our best in worship--that looks different for every person. We are all stewards of whatever God has given us because it all belongs to Him anyway. I'm a schoolteacher in the Midwest and can afford good gear now. But when I was in college, I played cheap gear (think Rogue acoustic!) and gave God my best then too. And when we worship Him in spirit and truth, He is pleased. I for one am super thankful for all things Worship Tutorials - the free lessons and content as well as the opportunities to purchase digital items that help me give my best!
