In the final segment of the brilliant and in-depth analysis of Manodharma in Carnatic classical music, TM Krishna discusses the concepts of Kalpana Swara followed by a detailed breakdown of the structure of a Thani Avarthanam.
Krishna is accompanied by Akkarai Subhalakshmi on violin, Arunprakash Krishnan on mridangam and Guru Prasad on ghatam. Tanpura and vocal support is provided by Krishna's senior students Vignesh Ishwar and Rithvik Raja.

@@prakks Let's just say that you don't prefer him. T.M. Krishna is a brilliant musician. Even if one listens to the videos of him available on this channel alone, it will be clearly evident.

@Yash Rakesh Gawade it's a matter of personal choice, I find his singing very poor, with issues in pitch, pronunciation, singing quality, etc. He may be very good when it comes to technicality, but his singing quality, at least as per me, is just not good enough.

TMK' nerawal and swaraj singing took me back to a concert of Semmangudi in 1957. Amazing. Must say Subbalakshmi is superb

My doubt is பாடகர் பாடும்போது அதே வரிகளை வயலினில் வாசிக்கும்போது.... என்னால் இரண்டையும் ஓரே நேரத்தில் கவனிக்கமுடிவதில்லை! சாகித்தியத்தின் வரிகள் வயலின் சத்தத்தில் மறைகிறது. Compared to voice of singer, instrumentsஉடைய sounds எப்படி இருக்கவேண்டும் என்பதை சற்று கவனிக்கவேண்டுமோ?
