Wow, the trolls are out on this one. I think that was an awesome video. The dedication to build and control that is crazy. People should try and sail a boat in high wind to realize the forces involved. A real video instead of the scripted video and crap music that I usually see.
it sorta looks like parker and sorta doesn't, I can't decide if it really is. The part where they're standing looks like i remember but the view doesn't look right :P (I havent been there in a while either. )
pagansforbreakfast It is a strange shortcut of thought to blame regulations to protect the environment for the profit that private companies make from exploiting energy sources.
pagansforbreakfast It takes a great deal of ignorance to call rules to protect the environment "enviro bullshit". Do you want your coastline be full of sticky oil? Do you want your drinking water containing lead or nitrates? Do you want the air your children breath contain cancerogenous dust? Do you want to breath formaldehyd evapourating from your cheap furniture and the OSB walls of your house? If you do not want greedy businesses to produce such crap or to produce things in a harmful way you have to prescribe them certain things, and punish them for transgression.
Well, there are rules and regulation in place and companies still fuck up simple basics like drinking water. They get fined and walk away, when whole societies pay the price long-term. If a corporation were held accountable as the person for the rights they claim, things would be better off.
Just, YES? That is a maiden to remember. That is every maiden. The more I get into this hobby, the less I like Maidens. True story, my wife thinks the maiden is the plane... I will post a maiden and she responds I love the colors on the maiden! At least she looks I guess. If your wife looked you would be pulled from the field. Or you married well. If you married as well as you fly, have I got a key party for you! I hope you like cats, because my wife may not be there.
@ Ben Tucker. In all fairness Ben, to the casual observer, flying in circles over and over again does seem uneventful at best. But, to each his own, or whatever floats your boat, etc.
It's actually quite interesting and enjoyable, the kind of control, strength to resist the gs he's pulling without wing flex and the speeds.. crazy stuff. I'm really captivated.
