Let me put my two cents into this, the music and the legacy must continue. Frankie Beverly created a beautiful catalog, absolutely beautiful, but it's been painfully obvious that he can't do it anymore, and hasn't been able to for a long, long time. Personally it is painful to watch Frankie continue to put out an inferior product while inflicting so much damage to his legacy. There is something called bowing out gracefully, which Frankie should do and let those who love and respect his remarkable career take the helm and represent the music to an entirely new generation. I will be purchasing tickets to this new ensemble because I love the music and want to keep it alive. No, the brother is not Frankie, but he is doing a fine job.
I have to agree, Frankie/Howard you need to hang your hat, there will never be anyone to replace you but time catches up with us all, please let us remember you as you were, its not Good Bye just go and rest for what time you have left. from a HUGE UK FAN & fan base.
