I’m a big fan of the direction they aimed for with this film. Letting them lean heavily into the awkwardness and mythos of adolescence really helps make the characters a lot more interesting and fun that some of the more flat interpretations of the Turtles
I’d say it also helps with character development because if the movie does good and the spin off and sequels follow suit we’ll actually see the turtles grow and mature with time
I hope they get progressively darker with the following installments. And for sure shredder should be a sequel villian, and for a third movie idk. Have them age up with each installment ala ben 10
Sure. The main female character knows how to read and write, she's not illiterate... Yes, I know, I'm as furious as you are. These woke screenwriting bastards, they really don't understand that girls and women shouldn't be educated or smart, it's not their God-given role in the world.
