The Technodrome could open the door, for other 80's 90's retro reissues playsets.

For my part I'd love to have a complete vintage Technodrome over the upcoming reissue but as you noted the prices on E-bay for incomplete or broken vintage Technodromes are ridiculous. Always wanted the Technodrome as a kid but never had it. This reissue is a definite buy for me at that $79.99 price point though.

I was looking for a technodrome on ebay. So glad it's being re issued.

Wonder how the Technodrome would go with my Turtles of Greyskall figures? I would love to fit it in with my Origins playsets.

I really hope the Technodrome stickers are not pre-applied. The original sticker placement was flawed, as you were supposed to put a sticker on the floor of the mutagen ooze pit, and that sticker would get damaged by the slime. I would definitely recommend not putting that sticker on there. It was a fun playset with lots of action features, but also had some flaws. The best one was the fold out ramp, you pull down the steering wheel and the eyeball rolled down the ramp like a boulder. Unfortunately, the Krang figure would not connect to his stand properly because the peg was too big, so he just balanced on there and he would fall off when you turned the lever. Hopefully they fix that for the reissue.

I had the technodrome as a kid, and it was such a disappointment for me. I know I'm in the minority, but this kind of killed my tmnt collecting. The only real plaabke area was the middle part. It was way too small to actually play with, and the "rooms" are boring. I love the idea of the technodrome, and I love playsets, and I will buy this. But I'm holding out hope for the sewer playset to be reissued.

The overall practical design is so bad that it has to be made by RandPeltzer. U can totally see him hocking this to stores in Chinatown
