I guess the arcade makers didn't feel people were ready for Super Shredder yet and were hoping in a future arcade game. Then TMNT popularity began waning anyway once Red Sky debuted.
@Stantheman2011 If you read what it says in the description, it clearly states that the original Turtles In Time Music is not in the Re-Shelled version of the game. This individual added the SNES soundtrack to the video, and I thank him for that.
I don't believe it...they had the chance to show a 3D battle against SUPER-SHREDDER, deemed to be one of the biggest baddest villains in the turtles mythos and one of the most memorable bosses from the original game...and...they...didn't...ACT ON IT?! What were they thinking?!
funny that they still play the time tunnel cutscene with Leo swimming against the timestream current, considering that finally they're going where they want to... also it's pretty jarring to hear the 2003 VAs voicing these cheesy 1987-esque quotes... i would never imagine either the 2003 version of Oroku Saki or Ch'rell uttering that turtle soup thing.
@Dragonstorm787 well to answer your question...they remix the arcade version and not the console with was way better...but to be honest...Ubisoft suck making TMNT games.
I was expecting Super Shredder as well, but not only that I would have liked to have seen the other stages put back into this, and seen more of the old baddies that were in it. Like Bebop and Rocksteady, or Rat King. And Cement Man over Slash? Really? I am disappoint. Still though, it was nice that they decided to give this classic game an update.
I would of preferred just an import of the original with all of it's classic arcade music, awesome Nintendo graphics, and it's colorful enemies. This was kind of a disappointment, because the original was all around a great game that had a tremendous sense of feel to it.
Caitlin? Oh wow. Better hope Don Turtelli isn't around.. However... ..Regular Shredder? I know was in the Arcade but c'mon! Give us Super Shredder! At least he was harder.
Regular shredder moving with the speed of super shredder and the strength of normal shredder...that's as epic as a post-it note...shoulda made him MMX1 Sigma speed and had a super shredder battle...but nah, why innovate when you can simply smack new graphics and terrible music (thanks for changing it) onto the original arcade version? When I started watching these, I had no idea why Screw Attack hated this remake so much lol...
The Arcade had better gameplay, graphics and sound. The SNES version had more levels and more bosses i.e. Rat King, Bebop and Rocksteady as pirates and Slash instead of cement man.
they dont have the montage of the turtles and their enemies? FUCK THIS REMAKE! also, they need to have it so I don't have to start the whole thing over when I lose all my lives with a friend, I can just restart from the beginning of the level
