श्री शेषन जी जैसे ईमानदार लोगो की वजह से ही आज भारत मे चुनाव को लगभग पारदर्शी और निष्पक्ष बना दिया, वरना मत पेटियां लूट लेना, मतदाताओ को डराना आदि की घटनाएं, धांधली आदि घटनाये बिल्कुल आम बात थी

He did more good to India than most at that time. He cleaned up elections, booth capturing and introduced moral code of conduct. He made EC what it is today. Hats off to this brave Tamilian and sadly I don’t believe he got any of the Padma awards. He richly deserved the Padma Vibushan. He was a towering personality and thank god we had him in 90s and to set the stage for what EC has become today. Thank you Seshan. Tamil Vaalga.
He is a great personality. He does not fit into Indian realms of bureaucracy. He was tough intelligent and a great presence of mind. Whatever department he handled he saw that each and everyone followed discipline of rules. That is why every politicians hated him but people loved him.

That time I was in class 6th and I used to think that he started Election commission, because before him I never heard anything about the Election commission at all, and after him suddenly EC used to be in Headlines more often.

Before T.N. Seshan never knew there was a post called Election Commission and the power it had in Constitution. We need at least one T.N. Seshan every decade in our country to clean the system.
