The year of 1972 has marked the fall of the last stronghold of liberty in a world where democracy and reason has been cornered - brought in by the very same democratical methods that this nation stood upon. Years of political mismanagement, economical malaise and extended radicalization of the population have brought the worst aspects of American politics in the spotlight. The Sovereignists, once a minor fraction on the outskirts of the National-Progressive Pact, has now consolidated in a serious force - led by the President-elect, Francis Parker Yockey. A man so incoherent he needed a Vice-president as a translator for his speeches. A man who wants to down with the old system completely and start a new era. A man who would bring nothing but demise to America.
Staying merely one presidential term, eroding democracy piece by piece - it was a matter of time before the general populace would get his hands on him, and on their arms. United no more, the country burns in the flames of a new civil war, where the followers of the old democracy, remnants of the Yockeyist dictatorship, unpurged resistant nationalists and progressives, antifascists, extremists, militias and other players have clashed in a battle for the future of America. Should democracy triumph with ease and sanity prevail, it will be swift; but in other case, it would take more time to set control over the country - and in the eighties, new eminences may appear, more sinister than could be imagined...
