It's kinda cringe but before I started playing fighting games I was a huge Call of Duty player back then and I was in a clan called sG which meant sniper god @@Myst1c_OW
This game is so much fun, and I really can't place why. I'm the epitome of fighting game noobs, but this is one of the few fighters that I not only spend lots of time training and trying to figure out how stuff works, but one I plan to take online as well (for context, so far the only games I've played vs people include BB Chrono Phantasma, Virtua Fighter 4/5, and Smash Bros Ultimate). This game definitely has a learning curve, but everything really feels intuitive and simple despite that fact. When I mess up, I know it was my fault, and I don't really get that feeling when I play fighting games often. Hope this title (and series) has a long life 😃
Recently hooked into UNI as an old FG player , and it just has an amazing balance between grounded, understandable interactions and crazy anime combos. Its super fast, but not ridiculous enough to be weird. Reminds me a lot of KOF XIII. The mechanics are also complex and engaging and cool character designs.
Damn I don't know why, but hydes animation is so much cleaner . In the winners final hyde seems way more skilled and experienced with all the new moves and supers he has
@@GonFreeccs123 You say this like he isn't one of the worst characters in the game, and even when he was "Better" he was mid as hell. This character needs to much help, which is weird, cause As a puppet character you'd expect him to be near the top with the work that comes with controlling 2 characters. Wild we have zoners with DPs, and so many people have invul reversals on wake-up, but the puppet character lacks any real mix-up that isn't frame traps (and that isn't even special in this game), and everyone aside from enkidu swings from like a little bit less than half screen. If I was trying to win a tournament, why the hell would I pick chaos (At least with the way he is now) with money on the line? That question is the entire reason he's not in top 8, ever. Hell, the pro who used to use him switched to Seth. If he was decent people would use him to win tournaments.
@@hakumenx1 What part is down playing? It's so wild when someone posts shit like this and then don't have and solid points for their argument. The guy was nerfed after being mid in the last game, Got 1 new useful move, has no decent mix-up (Despite so many characters having 1 or more overheads) outside of stagger pressure (which is something everyone does in this game sooo), and has some of the shortest range outside of maybe Enkidu in a game where people are swing for the fences so you and your pet can get clocked at half screen, despite needing to stay with him to combo and punish if they swing for him. Is ANY of that a lie? Hell, zoners have tools they probably shouldn't in this game, and he can't get a charged 66C? Have you even seen his 2B+C be useful? The thing at most puts Azhi on the other side of someone, but you could already do that in all his combos. It's not a overhead which is looks like it should be, so he can finally have some sort of mix-up for a "Hard to blockable". Have you even seen him do better than top 8? I'm downplaying apparently, but the guy can't win a tourney to save his life. EVERY pro can't be shit at this character. If he's so good, why aren't people using him to win? You act like wouldn't love to see that Just cause regular players get their asses handed to them by a low tier doesn't say a lot. Could low block and grab tech 90% of what he has. Only ever have to block high when he jumps. This is a decent puppet character that's being down played though? Maybe the fact that's he's bad is why no one really uses him? You see Neir all over the place in GBFV though. Zato has better Rep. So does Carl.
@Gration_ bro trill was a regular in top 8s back in pre pandemic uni days. He had some awesome games on stream with chaos. Not everything is about the highest level, if the char is fun play them and maybe you'll get good enough through your own efforts to reach it one day.
