Little update. The New York mini tour actually started on July 14 in Weedsport, then Flemington on the 15-16. I forgot to add Watertown, NY the day after West Lebanon.
Have really been enjoying these videos, have seen them all over these last three days, thanks for uploading!! USA-1 was my favourite monster truck ever since I saw the Battle of the Monster Trucks video (´85, 86?) and speaking of monster trucks in general my favourite era was up to around these years. I don't get the right feeling about todays plastic clad rail jobs, I liked'em best when they were monster TRUCKS, steel bodies with their engines stickin' out of the hood. Of course, progress moves forward, and as far being racing machines I recognize that those of today are far superior, and technolgically much more interesting. But it's these old ones that give me the right nostalgia feeling that I like! With that said, it was sad that the USA-1 didn't keep on being a regular contender. There were talk of a new car being built, ut it seems to never have happened? I would have loved to see the upcoming iterations of the truck and being able to keep on cheering for it. I had to go with Bear Foot instead (yeah, one of the pioneers of turning the trucks into the style I dislike, I know... Give me a break, it was a cool truck! xD), so I would love to see videos about the Bear Foot career and development. Thanks again. Greetings from Sweden
88 thru 90 was the best Monster Truck years. I think Everett got out at the right time. He had the for site to see that Monster Truck racing was turning into what wrestling was. The most beautiful Monster Truck ever. I think Everett posted on Facebook months ago that 4x4 Barbie was supposed to have licensed the USA-1 and would be running the colors this year. I haven't seen anything about it since he posted that.
How exactly did it turn into wrestling? Are you talking about the Bigfoot wrestling sponsorship/Monster Jam wrestling sponsorship? Or are you talking about the mascots in Monster Truck Wars? Or are you just talking about in general. If it's general then I don't really understand.
Im as diehard USA-1 fan as they come. Everett admitted he messed up. He couldve built a coilover like Carolina Crusher or Taurus and ran the Penda series......
@@SDRacing88 he should have, he always had the most powerful engines. If he'd have made a modern stage three race truck for 1991 or 1992, he might have been able to make some noise. Hell, maybe he could have challenged the death grip that Team Bigfoot had on Penda.
I wish I was there in those days I know why USA one kept rolling so much it was because the truck was too narrow the tires were too close under the body easily giving it a lack of center of gravity I noticed this because I built fast racing hobby trucks before and learn this When the tires are not out far enough it makes it top heavy
@@DaltonHastings1 copy that. Just looked like in that pic of Japan it was really far over. Lol. And I know you have pics of the Omni, but I bet someone somewhere has video of it
